This is not really a "parador" in the European sense (i.e. a government sponsored luxury hotel with history), but an upmarket B&B three minutes walk from the zocalo (main square). Built around a patio like all similar places in Oaxaca, it is just about adequate provided you are not looking for luxury. Our room was large with a window onto...

We used the shared taxi service from thr airport which dropped us off at the doors of the hotel arriving as the person before us at the airport taxi queue finished checking in. We paid cash as we had read that entitled us both to free breakfasts each day of our stay - they give you a ticket don't lose...

We stayed at Parador San Agustin for eight nights this month. It doesn't look like much from the outside but is a lovely old mansion with rooms around a courtyard and a rooftop terrace. It is only a block from the zocalo and convenient to most of the main attractions in Oaxaca. I had a suite on the second floor,...

One of the best hotels in Oaxaca! Very close to the Zocalo but far enough away from the noise. Great and helpful staff. Love the central courtyard. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are large. Comfortable beds too.

I originally chose this hotel for the location, one block to the ‘Zocalo’ you just can’t ask for better. Price was quite competitive as the other hotels with the same amenities and location. But, what stand this hotel from everybody else is that family atmosphere and that dedication that each employee showed on every of my request. I was delightful...

I loved this place. It's gorgeous, centrally located a block away from the Zocalo, at a great price point and with large, beautiful rooms. The reception staff are wonderful, warm, hospitable people - and helpful. When we arrived, I had a room without windows but I was moved to a different room the following day. The only thing that was...

First visit to Oaxaca, and looking forward to exploring this beautiful city. A sudden mobility issue curtailed walking, but the week was wonderful in large part because of the hotel....and STAFF. Most speak good English, accommodated my efforts at Spanish, and were more than generous with their time and attention. The physical plant is exactly what I wanted...not a Canadian...

lovely colonial hotel with nice common areas on the second floor. Very close to the zocalo, juarez market and a variety of restaurants. The rooms are large and very clean. If u pay cash a full b'fast is served. What really makes this hotel is the exceptional service of all the staff. They really go out of their way to...

The hotel is a charming, old building just a block away from the main square, in good location to explore the town on foot. The rooms are facing an innner courtyard where the breakfast is served. Our room had just a small window facing the courtyard, but it did not bother us, we only slept there. The bed was fine,...

I was on the ground floor so there were no windows. I think they really would prefer you pay cash then you get breakfast. However I needed to pay with my card so I had to pay for breakfast. It was served just outside my door. Wish it were a bit earlier but still it was great. Staff was really...
