A beautiful little hotel with an inviting foyer and central courtyard that's full of bright colors, song birds, plants, and bright colors. Our room (junior suite) was spacious, very clean, had strong wifi signal, a nice big shower with plenty of hot water, a locking safe for valuables, etc. Turndown service was a fun find every night, as they'd leave...

A bit on the old hippie style, the atrium is filled with caged birds and plants. No lift, but then there are only 3 floors so it wasn't a problem. The staff were great and the receptionists spoke good English, which saved relying on my lamentable Spanish. Breakfasts were ordered from a menu, which was a trifle confusing as we...

We spent two days at Parador San Miguel in November 2016. This hotel was very conveniently located close to the Zocalo and the Mercados and the rooms were very cute. The staff was very friendly and though we had an issue, the hotel was responsive in correcting it. I would certainly return.

As good as described and lived up to the various reviews on Trip Advisor. Centrally located, walking distance to the historic town. Nice spacious rooms and a very nice complex. The singing birds in the beautiful courtyard added to the atmosphere. Staff is very helpful. Our rate did not include breakfast and we only had food at the hotel a...

The hotel is in a great, central location but is in the heart of much street and traffic noise. In addition the hallways carry conversations so it was not a "quiet" stay. There was considerable noise at night and very early in the morning. There were a few issues with our room..to get to the bathroom one had to go...

This is simply the best place to stay in Oaxaca City. As the owner of a textile tour company, I bring groups all over the world. Parador San Miguel is one of my favorite hotels in all the world. The location is ideal; the rooms are wonderful and atmospheric with many special touches like fresh flowers, chocolate on the beds,...

Beautifully decorated with large rooms. My room had windows looking into a court yard, was large and very comfortable. Excellent location just a block from the Zocolo. The staff were helpful and diligent. I would stay here again.

Our room was comfortable with all the basics and some nice amenities. The service was good and friendly. There are two outdoor deck areas to sit in during the evenings. The restaurant was good, not great, and overpriced compared to other places we went. We were on a 3rd floor walk up which got a little old...but, our room was...

Trip Advisor – Parador San Miguel Boutique Hotel – Oaxaca Very classy boutique hotel, a converted old three-story upscale colonial house with a beautifully-styled courtyard. An excellent restaurant in the front of the house. After our morning and noon adventures out and around the city, we returned to take advantage of the 3rd floor sunroom and outdoor patio (with patio...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
With a privileged location, 20 minutes from the airport. In the historical downtown area, only a half block from the Central Alameda. The beautiful colonial-style building has three floors with 23 rooms, including four suites.Located on one of the main avenues in the city, the facade had a grand entry door of carved cedar, opening to a lovely porch with a statue of St. Michael the Archangel.A wrought iron gate opens to the hotel vestibule, where walls of ochre, terra-cotta, beige and cream combine with dark green ironwork and green granite columns to provide a dramatic backdrop for the brilliant bougainvillea and geraniums that thrive in the home's central patio. From here you can catch a hint of the spellbinding flavors of our Oaxacan kitchen. In "La Cocina" you can choose a magical dish to your specifications.Small gardens lead to the first level rooms. A majestic green granite stairway crowned with glorious stained glass leads to the second and third levels. On the second level terrace, you could relax or sunbathe accompanied by canaries in a kaleidoscope of multicolored flowers. ... more   less
