Beautifully decorated with large rooms. My room had windows looking into a court yard, was large and very comfortable. Excellent location just a block from the Zocolo. The staff were helpful and diligent. I would stay here again.

Our room was comfortable with all the basics and some nice amenities. The service was good and friendly. There are two outdoor deck areas to sit in during the evenings. The restaurant was good, not great, and overpriced compared to other places we went. We were on a 3rd floor walk up which got a little old...but, our room was...

Trip Advisor – Parador San Miguel Boutique Hotel – Oaxaca Very classy boutique hotel, a converted old three-story upscale colonial house with a beautifully-styled courtyard. An excellent restaurant in the front of the house. After our morning and noon adventures out and around the city, we returned to take advantage of the 3rd floor sunroom and outdoor patio (with patio...

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and they could not do enough to make my birthday trip something to remember. One...

Nice location very comfortable. Buy your water across the street in little market as well as ground coffee for coffee maker. Staff was very helpful, and convenient with restaurant at front. Extended our stay here as the price was great with good comfortable beds, and air conditioning.

We spent Thanksgiving holiday at this great little hotel two blocks from the Zocalo and the heart of Oaxaca city. The service was excellent and helpful, arranging our trip from the airport, a great driver/tour guide (Antonio Garcia), taxis, and numerous helpful hints. Even though located on a busy street, the rooms were quiet, clean and large. We purchased breakfast...

I stayed at Parador San Miguel for 10 nights in November it was absolutely perfect. The common spaces and rooms are beautiful with lovely little details everywhere. The entire place is immaculately clean and the on premises restaurant was super convenient but also really delicious-we ate many meals there. I'd say the best part about this hotel is the staff...

Attractive hotel with leafy courtyard filled with colourful birdcages complete with singing birds. The friendly restaurant served meals here if required. Our king room was large and comfortable. Staff were all really excellent, nice terraces to relax on, and it is right in the centre close to everything. We would stay here again most certainly!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
With a privileged location, 20 minutes from the airport. In the historical downtown area, only a half block from the Central Alameda. The beautiful colonial-style building has three floors with 23 rooms, including four suites.Located on one of the main avenues in the city, the facade had a grand entry door of carved cedar, opening to a lovely porch with a statue of St. Michael the Archangel.A wrought iron gate opens to the hotel vestibule, where walls of ochre, terra-cotta, beige and cream combine with dark green ironwork and green granite columns to provide a dramatic backdrop for the brilliant bougainvillea and geraniums that thrive in the home's central patio. From here you can catch a hint of the spellbinding flavors of our Oaxacan kitchen. In "La Cocina" you can choose a magical dish to your specifications.Small gardens lead to the first level rooms. A majestic green granite stairway crowned with glorious stained glass leads to the second and third levels. On the second level terrace, you could relax or sunbathe accompanied by canaries in a kaleidoscope of multicolored flowers. ... more   less
