The Maria's B&B is perfect to stay and enjoy the richness of Oaxaca ! Breakfast are yummy and different every day and Maria will make you discover the specialties of the region. Maria and her mom are really nice and helpful, and the place is decorated with lot of taste. I really recommend this place !

Gorgeous place, wonderful people, and amazing Oaxacan breakfasts. Maria was extremely helpful and accommodating to anything me and my two other friends needed. There is an amazing tlayuda place across the street from the B&B and the rooftop is incredibly relaxing. If you like B&Bs, you will like this place. We felt instantly at home, while still having a very...

A great B&B experience depends as much on who stays there as the facility. The proprietor, Maria, has paid great attention to detail and while not an elegant place, it has all the necessary comforts and when you add fun guests - memorable times happen. Sharing daily adventures, tequilas on the patio and breakfast conversation distinguish this from the more...

We spent four days here while exploring Oaxaca. Once through the door, we were treated to a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city. The location is perfect for a walking tour of the city, and Maria, the most gracious hostess, is a font of information and can help arrange for tours and other things one might want to...

Spent two nights here, while in town for a destination wedding weekend. This was our second time in Oaxaca - the last stayed elsewhere. Well, El Diablo Y La Sandia was great. Marie runs a nice, cozy, enjoyable B&B. Its just an ice place to relax, unwind, etc. We stayed in the Luna room which was very cute and comfy....

Maria is a wonderful host and is always happy to provide suggestions and recommendations. The location of the B&B is excellent and it felt very safe to walk around in the evenings. The breakfasts were amazing...

I was in Oaxaca last week and spent 5 nights at El Diablo y la Sandia and it was fantastic and Maria was an awesome host. We arrived really late on the Saturday and Maria was so accommodating. Breakfast with our 'neighbours' became a morning highlight as we shared stories of our previous days adventures and sought suggestions on the...

We stayed here for 4 nights recently and were very happy with the choice. Super location to explore the city, Maria was an excellent hostess which made finding certain stores easy. We met an interesting mix of people around the breakfast table, which added to the fun. The couple we were with wished the breakfasts were a bit more substantial...

I loved my stay at El Diablo y La Sandia, it felt like home the minute I walked in. Breakfast in the open courtyard was such a treat, so bright and welcoming. but the best part was Maria, herself, and the time she took to answer questions, call for taxis, etc. It is an easy walk to all the best...
