We enjoyed a warm welcome when we checked in here for 5 nights to enjoy everything that Oaxaca has to offer. Reception here is on the ground floor off Morellos and all of the rooms are at first floor level including the main open terrace/breakfast area. The hotel is an easy walk to the Zocalo, major attractions, shops and restaurants....

We stayed at casa de siete balcones for about a week around Christmas time. We loved the location of the hotel. It's just two blocks from the Zocolo and in a great location to experience the energy of the city during Christmas. Very few people on staff spoke English but the staff was wonderful and did everything they could to...

We had gracious service, comfortable accommodations in a neighborhood we enjoyed. Close to what we wanted, walking distance to most everthing. The hotel , to our astonishment, presented us witha cake, upon hearing there was a birthday! That is a first! This is a converted mansion, not many rooms, and breakfast was included. Fresh fruit, juice, coffe, rolls.

We stayed six nights and everything was wonderful! Rooms were very clean, staff very helpful, professional and accommodating, they went out of their way to make us feel at home! Hotel is situated in a great location, right in the center of "El Centro Historico" within walking distance to museums, restaurants and so many other sites!

Lovely staff, friendly, efficient, helpful......but inadequate accomodation. Poor furnishing, desk with tiny drawers, no space to unpack, poor lighting, unrelaxing room to be in. Toilets are, of course, a problem there as in other places in mexico......so possibly they cant do anything about that. Unfortunately does colour the stay in negative way

We stayed for two nights. Already at check-in you receive a lot of useful information about Oaxaca (in English). The hotel is perfectly located in the center with nice views from the balconies. Atmosphere is very nice and personal. The staff always tried to fulfill our wishes e.g. at breakfast. Rooms have been nicely made and decorated, especially the "towel...

We stayed at Siete Balcones for 3 nights - the location was excellent, just a block away from the Cathedral and down the road from Santo Domingo. But the service was what made it stand out, absolutely suberb! Very helpful and friendly staff, and delicious breakfasts with quesadillas and tamales...Highly recommend it for anyone that wants a lovely hotel with...

This hotel is in an excellent location - right on the corner of the main pedestrian walking street in the heart of the city. What you get for the price is quite good - clean rooms with comfortable beds and friendly staff who are very knowledgeable on local attractions. However, despite the hotel's best efforts to reduce street noise (double...

We loved Casa de Siete Balcones. The staff was extremely helpful and extremely friendly. Our room and (balcony!) faced a pedestrian street where something was always happening (although once the balcony door was closed, all sound from the street was silenced). I loved the fresh breakfasts, clean room, vivid colors and artwork, and, most of all, the LOCATION!!! It is...
