Oaxaca is an awesome city to visit and explore, with its vast cultural and culinary offerings, but when it's time to rest, Casa Los Arquitos is perfect. Juan and Patricia make this the place that we want to come back to. They have created a beautifully appointed, comfortable and welcoming refuge, in an ideal location. Available to answer questions and...

We stayed here for two weeks and we would highly recommend it. A beautiful colonial home on a quiet, safe street minutes away from Santa Domingo Church. The rooms are spacious with ceiling fans, fridges and no shortage of hot water. The wifi service was consistent and the library had a nice collection of travel books about Oaxaca and a...

Location is excellent - central but quiet, and safe. Breakfasts are very good, with different juices and fruits and main entree every day. Good coffee and hot chocolate as well. Rooms are not luxurious but are adequate. Nice quiet courtyard and library. Good wifi. Owner, Juan, is a true gentlemen and a great host. Can't imagine a more helpful or...

I just spent a few days with friends and family at Casa los Arquitos in Oaxaca and we found the place and the service simply perfect. Juan and his wife are the most fantastic and welcoming hosts. Ideal location on the street of los arquitos (an old aqueduct). Beautifully set rooms within a wonderful old but fully restored colonial house....

I was fortunate to stay at Casa Los Arquitos recently. Juan and Patricia are gracious and helpful hosts. They really take the time to make you feel very welcome at their B and B. The location is fantastic, the rooms are cozy, the breakfasts are tasty, and the ambiance warm. When in Oaxaca I will return to Casa Los Arquitos!...

We stayed at Casa Los Arquitos for seven nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The location couldn't be better - close enough to walk to everything, but tucked away down a charming street that was really secluded and quiet compared to the evening bustle just a few blocks' walk away. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and the...

Juan and Patricia are great hosts, friendly, helpful with your Spanish, very accomodating. Rooms are large, very clean, quiet, good AC. Good Wi-Fi. I don't remember if it had a television. Breakfasts were very good--usually fresh fruit, yoghurt, etc. I like bacon and eggs occasionally and that would have been welcome. Juan and Patricia are so nice, I didn't want...

We just came back from our first trip to Oaxaca and stayed at Los Arquitos in the small room with the double bed (#2) on the first floor. It was just right for us. Internet - works well and unlike many places I've been to in Mexico, it was consistent anywhere in the B&B, including in our room. Hot water...

Juan es un encanto! We loved the Casa, we loved its location, and most of all we loved Juan and Patricia! We speak Spanish so we spoke mostly in Spanish with Juan, but I know his English is excellent. Juan is one of the most lovely men I've ever met. He shared so much of himself with us (which is...

We spent two weeks at Casa Los Arquitos, and it made our stay in the wonderful city of Oaxaca that much more enjoyable. The Casa is located on a very quiet little residential street that is a five minute walk from Santo Domingo cathederal, and perhaps another five minutes, in the same direction, to the Zocalo. And that ten-minute stroll...
