We stayed three nights mid January in a room on the first floor in this hotel on the basis of tripadvisor comments. We agree with most previous comments, but a couple of (negative) points stood out for us: - Hotel management doesn't understand the concept of 'business risk'. Apparently there is a note in the room somewhere that warns guests...

We found this hotel after having to leave the Hacienda Don Juan after one night because of its location and lack of eating facilities. The Parador Margarita is a very cosy, clean small hotel. The staff was very helpful to us and the hotel's location a few blocks from the zocalo is perfect (not withstanding reviews to the contrary). We...

We stayed 4 nights and couldn't be more pleased. It is super clean with beautiful rooms and courtyard. The staff were most pleasant and it had a lovely breakfast. A short walk to the main plaza and church.

A nice structure but the location is a few blocks too far away from the center. The main criticism is the staff treating the clients as if the clients are an inconvenience! Hard beds and you need to ask for a portable heater from reception.

Just spent a few nights in SCLC. Nov 2012. Stayed at Parador Margarita, which is a 3 min walk from the main pedestrian zone. The rooms are spacious, simple and well appointed with a large bathroom, hot shower and comfy beds. The garden is a beautiful pace to relax in the sun-trap. The breakfast is ample and tasty (eggs, granola,...

This is a lovely hotel....great location. The hotel is very beautiful. The room had a funny smell but aired out quickly when the window was open for a short time. I would definitely stay here again. The water was nice and hot, the bed was pretty comfy.

We first arrived at the sister hotel Casa Margarita, but this is late October and they had no heater's so Martin, the great gentleman at reception sent us to Parador Margarita. We arrived to Pardor Margarita where we were greeted by Jose Antonio, who honoured Martin's rate and showed us our room, the common courtyard, our room included secure parking,...

We spent 3 nights at this nice hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful in planning our time here. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Great hot showers and bathrooms. Everything is new and spotless. The breakfast is served upstairs and it is fun to sit on the outside patio and enjoy the view. The hotel is quiet...

This was our second visit to San Cristobal, and it was even better the second time around. Part of wht made it so wonderful was our stay at this hotel. it is just far enough away from the main drag to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough to walk to everything. The staff is friendly and very helpful, and...

It is a lovely place and the service is friendly and very efficient. It's a walking distance to downtown and markets, but far enough to keep it quiet during the night. Breakfast included is good but very light.
