We stayed at Hotel Casavieja for 4 days. The hotel is centrally located (just walking distance from all the restaurants). The staff was very nice. The hotel is very clean and safe. It has beautiful Mexican colonial decor. The only negative thing about this hotel is the noise you can hear from the hallways. If you are a light sleeper...

Good location just a block away from the walking area Andador Real Guadalupe. Clean, friendly staff, the building is very picturesque in a typical old colonial building. Has parking for the cars. The bathrooms are really small, but have the bathroom amenities. The rooms are around an interior patio and have almost no noise from the outside, but quite some...

We stayed 2 nights in Casavieja and we liked it. Very beautiful old house, with nice patios full of flowers and corners to relax. Nice decorated, quiet room at the backside of the hotel, with free water and free coffee and tea, good and many toilettries in the bathroom. The room has an efficient heater for cold nights. Very good...

It is my second trip in San Cristobal so just so you know, all the hotels in this city have the same "old colonial" look but they don't have the same quality so check the reviews before choosing your hotel or you could have bad surprises. During my first trip in San Cristobal I stayed at hotel Cielo y Tierra....

We spent 5 nights at this hotel. It was adequate, has plenty of charm, but lacks warmth. It is located on a quiet street allowing one to sleep very well. San Cristobal is normally cool, so having a good heating system is really important. Everything was open including the Reception and the Meeting rooms, so it was too cold to...

I just loved this old, beautiful hotel, so full of charm. We had a pretty cold stay in San Cristobal for two days in november, but the room kept warm and cosy with extra heater. Despite the thin walled rooms, our room was very quiet. The whole hotel was nice and quiet at that time. The room was clean and...

I loved this hotel - it just was so cozy. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, if only slightly cold. But, the good news is that a heater and extra duvet are provided so sleeping is nice and cozy. Rooms on the inside are better as they get less noise from the street. Location is excellent, right round the corner...

My in-laws, who live in San Cristobal invited a group of 8 of us for a relaxed, sophisticated, traditional Chiapas Mexico breakfast. We had Huevos Ranchero, fruit plates, Tamales de Chiapas, Chilaquiles. Everything was perfect and service was awesome. It was about $10 USD per person. Very cool and quiet historical location near the Zocalo.

+ Best breakfast ever! (lots of choice) with very attentive service + location: in the center - they picked up our luggage and dropped it off again outside of town as our bus could not enter the center. + beautiful gem, like staying at a museum - thin walls, so there might be noise from your neighbors, but I understand...

Excellent place to stay in San Cristobal. Just about 250m from Zocalo, in quiet street. Not too far from the centre and pedestrial streets. Hotel restaurant is in separate building, only 20 meters away, across the street. It serves very tasty meals. The hotel parking is next to restaurant. The building itself is very nice, and maybe does not look...
