Super little hotel about six blocks from the central plaza. You can easily walk anywhere from Mansion del Valle. The rooms are small by US standards, but on par with what you'll find in most places in Europe. The staff are all excellent. The restaurant serves a traditional Mexican breakfast buffet which was delicious everyday. Don't worry... you can also...

This hotel is charming and clean, and the public spaces are attractive and comfortable -- but the rooms with interior facing windows are dark and dreary, with bathroom airshaft windows that allow you to hear everything happening in adjacent bathrooms. For the affordable price, this could all be overlooked if the beds were at all comfortable. They're not. The mattresses...

The rooms (or at least ours) are quite small but clean and comfortable. Beds also very comfortable. The breakfast patio is attractive, but one of the features that we liked even more was the open courtyard we passed to get to our rooms. This is a simple, comfortable hotel. It's outstanding features are it's value for the money and it's...

We booked a room with a king-size bed and air conditioning. Not only did we get a room with two single beds joined together (ehich were too small for a man over 180cm so I had to sleep with my legs out of the bes), when we asked why dont we have air conditioning we were told that the hotel...

This comfortable boutique hotel is well situated on a quiet street within walking distance of the plaza, Cathedral and shopping. The staff, like most in Mexico, is attentive and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean if not overly fancy. The amenities are up to expected standards. I would highly recommend this for your visit to this interesting colonial city...

The hotel has everything you could wish for. A lovely view over the adjacent mountains, fast wi fi, spacious rooms and breakfast was varied and the pancakes with cooked bananas and maple syrup made a pleasant change from eggs. There was also a fine range of fresh fruit. The hotel was only a five minute walk from the centre of...

This hotel is situated across from the park where they hold their local festivals and our room was on the front making it extremely noisy due to the loudness of the musical instruments used. Fortunately they finished at 11pm. We also had a problem here with the shower. There was purely a dribble of water coming out of it. Whilst...

Hotel Mansion was centrally located to restaurants and shops and only a five minute walk to the center of town. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was basic but nice, quiet, clean and had hot water. Perfect! The only negative was the hard pillows. San Cristobal de las Casas is a charming town with great food, nice people...

We loved the location and the closeness to museums and shops, however the beds were a 'disaster' very hard, we could had slept on the floor and probably been more comfortable. They should buy new mattresses.
