El Hostalito is everything you could want from a hostel - a fantastic kitchen, a range of rooms and enough shared bathrooms so you never have to wait, brilliant selection of games/books, free internet, a cosy lounge with fireplace and sofas and a unique selling point - the bikes! Unfortunately, we only had one night in San Cristobal, but we...

Amazing place! Cozy and excellent atmosphere. It really makes you feel like being on a family home. Clean and funny place, with good ambient and good food. The owner (Joaquin) is really a friendly and excellent guy. Very good quality/price relation! Definitively my favorite place in San Cristobal! A must see. You must go there! Beautiful place!! We had an excellent stay at el hostalitO! It's our favourite place to stay in San Cristobal for its peaceful and homey feel. The house is well located in the center of San Cristobal. There are two spacious common areas with a dining room and a tv/reading room where you'll find a diverse selection of movies, boardgames and books, as...

This place has a lot of interior charme and is decorated with lots of hearth by its German owner. This was also the reason why choose this place for our stay in San Cristobal de las Casas. As we entered our private room, we had first to ask for a new blanket because they forget to change it since their...

El Hostalito is very central, just off the main street. It is run by two very friendly, welcoming people. The whole place has a very homely feel to it, with a great kitchen and lovely living space. Highly recommend this hostel to anyone wishing to stay in San Cristobal...by far the best hostel we have stayed in so far!

Excellent hostel, good kitchen, good service, great price, the best that I could see the area, central, good food, good platitudes. No profit from the tours, advice perfectly and if you can do independently do not hide it. No bunkbeds, recycle trash all highly recommended. Internet wifi with good signal and a communal imac for free. Arrive at suspiciously low...

“Get a private room so you can lock your belongings inside! However, make sure the room is on the second floor and not the loft. The loft has a funny smell, carpet, no windows and you have to go through the dorm room to get to it. I'm not sure what it's called, but I'd avoid it!”
