We had such a wonderful stay for 5 nights after my 3 week language immersion. Bela is so warm and makes you feel right at home. The breakfasts, the garden, the conversation, well, it just couldn't have been better in any way. The fire in the morning added yet another homey, cozy note to one of our best vacations ever!...

Bela's B and B is the best. Bela, Manuela and Teri made sure we were comfortable and welcome. I stay there whenever I'm in San Cristobal. I can't recommend Bela's highly enough, it is my favorite place to stay.

This is the best B&B you're going to find in San Cristobal. Or Chiapas. Or Mexico. Maybe the world. The moment you step through the big wooden door that leads to Bela's courtyard, you know you're in for a treat. The garden is beautiful, the rooms are cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is fruit, granola, yogurt and fresh-baked bread. Eggs too,...

Bela makes everyone that comes to her B&B feel right at home. As soon as you enter the door, it is like you are family. Fresh, delicious, and healthy home cooked meals are served daily. There is always great conversation going in the dining room. The garden gets more beautiful every time I go back. Each room has a unique...

The most wonderful part of being at Bela's B&B in San Cristobal, Chiapas is that, even though you are far from home, you are at home. That is the kind of warm atmosphere created in this beautiful setting. Bela, and everyone who works at her B&B, make sure that each guest feels special and welcome. The rooms are comfortable, with...

Enjoy great conversations with interesting guests around the breakfast table, hang out in the incredible garden patio and watch the hummingbirds, lounge around and read or check out the markets and museums and other spots all within walking distance.
