I absolutely LOVED my stay at Bela's B&B and can't wait to go back. Centrally located, in walking distance to the best markets and restaurants. The property is beautifully adorned with local art and lush gardens. Friendly and helpful staff with cozy rooms and family atmosphere.

I stayed at Bela's for 5 weeks while I was studying Spanish in S.C. Bela, Manuela, Terre, Meli - everyone - is super kind and knowledgeable about where to eat, what to see and do. Bela and her team have created a B&B that is a work of art in that every room has art, textiles and furnishings from the...

Our family of 4 traveled around Mexico for 4 weeks and agreed that Bela's was by far our favorite place to stay. Bela is charming, well informed, sincere and helpful. She and her wonderful staff have created a beautifully decorated, clean, cozy home for their guests. The breakfasts were delicious, and the dogs were a huge hit with our kids....

Bela’s B&B is located in a quiet part of town, yet only 4 blocks away from the Zocalo and very close to the beautiful church and convent of Santo Domingo and its lovely handicrafts market. The whole place and has a welcoming, casual and relaxed atmosphere and is beautifully appointed with Bela’s handpicked local ceramics and textiles. Her little furry...

I really enjoy being in San Cristobal de Las Casas in Chiapas, Mexico! The community is diverse and possesses a significant level of indigenous population holding true to their unique qualities. The historic indigenous and Hispanic architectural landmarks offer endless glimpses over the past hundreds of years. There truely is more than one can see and do here quickly. If...

Beautiful room with balcony overlooking the garden; the breakfast was plentiful, healthy and delicious; Bela helped us with all our questions. This was our second trip to San Cristobal, but the first time with Bela. I'd stay again anytime!

I really want this place for myself....and keep it a secret! But being fair to the hostess, I've been coming to Bela's B&B regularly since 2010 and call it my HOME in Chiapas. As a textile documenter and professional shopper I usually spend about 10-14 days there at least once a year. I love the family who work there and...

Wow!!!! Bela’s B&B is all that. A gorgeous colonial house with an interior garden filled with exotic plants and numerous song birds. My accommodation was so much more than I expected. A king sized bed with double control electric blankets, a seating area, a wonderful view of the mountains, a huge tub, a space heater and a heated towel rack....
