Beautiful room with balcony overlooking the garden; the breakfast was plentiful, healthy and delicious; Bela helped us with all our questions. This was our second trip to San Cristobal, but the first time with Bela. I'd stay again anytime!

Wow. Absolutely loved Bela's B&B! The furniture was elegant and beautiful, the garden smack in the middle is gorgeous and even has hummingbird visitors, and Bela and her team are wonderful. Everyone is extremely nice and welcoming and the breakfast is delicious! Not only was the service and atmosphere great, but the location is perfect- in walking distance of the... More

Best B&B to stay in San Cristobal. My kids and I will definitely go back and stay at Bela's B&B. The shopping and restaurants are with in walking distance. Great breakfast and awesome staff. Our family really enjoyed our entire stay. Bela was very welcoming. This Place was spotless and very cozy. Loved the garden and quiet space. But...our favorite... More

I really want this place for myself....and keep it a secret! But being fair to the hostess, I've been coming to Bela's B&B regularly since 2010 and call it my HOME in Chiapas. As a textile documenter and professional shopper I usually spend about 10-14 days there at least once a year. I love the family who work there and... More

Wow!!!! Bela’s B&B is all that. A gorgeous colonial house with an interior garden filled with exotic plants and numerous song birds. My accommodation was so much more than I expected. A king sized bed with double control electric blankets, a seating area, a wonderful view of the mountains, a huge tub, a space heater and a heated towel rack.... More

Ahhhh now I remember why I had returned to Bela's! I had stayed in 2012 and had always wanted to come back. Magical memories there. As soon as I walked in, all the memories came flooding back. When sitting either on the outside couch, hanging out in the kitchen - I remembered the hours spent reading, relaxing, just petting and... More

Bela's B&B is a true gem and the most beautiful place we stayed on our three-week trip. The comfortable, cozy rooms surround a courtyard garden, which is green and full of flowers. The location is incredible--right in the heart of town, a block from the walking streets, and across the street from the church craft market. My favorite trip was... More

My wife and I stayed at Bela's for 12 days and every day was a delight. The B&B is in the heart of classic San Cristobal a half-block from the artisanal market and two blocks from one of the "andadors" or pedestrian streets. The small set of rooms are of independent character, and we were lucky to have the room... More

Bela's is a perfectly lovely place. Bela knows the city well and is happy to suggest places to visit. Breakfast is great and the staff are efficient and welcoming. Laundry can be done in house. We spent a few very pleasurable days at this sweet B&B over the 2015 Christmas period. Bela and her staff were very welcoming, polite and couldn't do enough for us. The building layout is very interesting with patio areas and a beautiful garden which is planted with many flowers, it was very nice to sit with a glass of wine... More
