Fantastic resort 20 minutes from the airport. Friendliest staff we have ever encountered. The layout of the property was well planned offering many different options to spend your time. The food was good-not great- but the options were abundant. We did not go hungry. Pools were wonderful and the beach was set up nicely to be able to relax on a comfy cabana and listen to the ocean.

Great resort but beware of thieves! There's not one thing wrong with the resort itself, but some of the staff have sticky fingers. Room service great, pools great, amenities great, but I had some very sentimental items stolen! And there was nothing the management could do.

Haven Riviera Cancun Cancun, Mexico This resort is a Epic Fail Where should we begin! A Waste of money with false advertising. The photos do not do this resort true justice, upon check in, I paid for the villa/room that we purchased from their website, nor did they give us the exact room. They charge us a higher rate, and tried to play it off as if we didn’t notice. The charges did not match at all. Secondly, they don’t disclose that they are building a convention center in front of “serenity ” portions of the hotel, so there’s construction noise all day long. Thirdly, The ocean smells like a sewage tank and the water is filled with sawgrass and muddy toilet water., which makes the resort smell the same way all throughout the day, especially during high temperature hours. Fourthly, Their 2 1/2 fitness centers with 300+ guest only had four pieces of equipment that actually worked. The rest had out of order signs on them. The food quality was about a 2 out of 10, even though it’s all inclusive, I would have paid a higher premium to eat food that didn’t taste like it came from the dog food Isle. The resort also promises a butler to service your needs during your stay, weI saw someone the first day upon check in, and after that, he seem to disappear, even after making several phone calls to find him, he would respond hours to days later, we actually had the pool bartenders and restaurant service staff take care of us for all of our food and beverage request and reservations, while the Butler apparently bailed on his guest. The room was never maintained properly, even after leaving a large amount of tips each day.Days would go by and they wouldn’t show up to change linens or supplies within our room. The most frustrations situation from this whole debacle, is that our family wanted to visit us for the day for lunch, and we called the concierge’s/front desk and they wanted us to pay $245 a person for a day pass just to visit us for lunch which is absolutely ridiculous. That was the last straw for me and my guest PERIOD !! I highly recommend looking elsewhere for an adults only all inclusive resort experience. I would give this resort a -2 out of 10 on a Motel scale, must definitely not a resort. CHOOSE WISELY, A VACATION SHOULD BE A PLACE OF SERENITY, Great Food, Great, FUN, RESPECT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, YOU SHOULD FEEL WELCOME. THIS BY FAR WAS NONE OF Those. …

My friends and I were so blown away with this resort, the amenities, and the workers! The resort was stunning and very well kept. It was always clean and employees worked hard to keep it that way. The workers were all so kind and accommodating. They did everything with a happy heart and a smile. The buffets had a large variety of foods for every kind of eater. Our favorite servers were Ruben and Fernando. They knew what to start us off with the minute we walked into the restaurant. They even went as far as making our table a special guacamole and chicken wing sauce. The dinner restaurants had wonderful food. We ate Japanese, Italian, hibachi, and many other different things. Room serve was available 24/7 and had several options as well. The rooms were very clean, and we were thankful for the cleaning service and minifridge fillers. We stayed in the ocean view suite with an amazing beach view. The beach had its share of seaweed, but that has nothing to do with the resort. It had more than enough Bali beds and lay out chairs to accommodate the guests. The pools were the same way. Tons of chairs. Bali beds, and towels to go around. The large round pool was the quieter, relaxing pool. The large rectangular pool was the event pool. Water aerobics, yoga, volleyball and other things were available in this pool. They also have a DJ on certain days of the week. The resort had shows every night. It was always fun to watch the amazing entertainers. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this resort to anyone wanting to relax and have a good time! …

Everything was amazing. We got the Serenity Package which included a butler among many other things. The views, the atmosphere, the cleaniness! Angel our butler was amazing, he was a God send. We went to Tahani for breakfast and dinner. However the dinner was amazing.! The chef Ramses cooked our food to perfection and brought it to the table himself. Anatael the Manager provided our party with the best seat in the house! Our Messero Omar, absolutely amazing, our drinks were never empty and our stomachs full. This resort is it we will be back!

Jun, Luis, pepito, johnathan, Jose. They had amazing service and were very kind, Pepito- set up volleyball every day so my friends and I could play. I hurt my toes the day before we left and they were all concerned for me and would check in with me, really felt the love and friendship. Loved it here would 100% come back

My husband and I stayed at haven riviera Cancun for to celebrate our anniversary! Every staff member was wonderful! We especially loved Jorge (concierge), Cesar (waitstaff), Hugo (serenity bar), Jeu, and Carlos (Mexican steak house). The entire crew at Tahani was amazing each morning for breakfast! Everyone was so attentive, friendly and always eager to make our stay perfect! Everything was clean and overall a really great experience!

We have stayed at several resorts in Cancun, and Haven Riviera was not our favorite. PROS: Room service was amazing! The best food in the resort, actually. The private jacuzzi tubs on the patio was so nice. CONS: The beach was completely unusable! They made zero effort to remove any of the seaweed, even though other resorts down the beach were cleaning up…it smelled rancid, and you couldn’t even walk along the edge. Horrible dealbreaker for me. The pools were downright hot-not even remotely comfortable. The food wasn’t very good in the restaurants, especially the buffet. The gift shop was a complete ripoff, $30 sunscreen and benedryl? Get real, folks. Bingo night only had about a dozen people, and then turned away everyone else. We had to wait over 4 hours for our room to be ready the first day, so just roamed around in the heat. Not our best vacation, by a long shot!…
