We are longtime FA Members & have been to many properties with our membership. Condesa Cancun is a SHINING STAR!! Congratulations to your Team at Condesa for their hard work and friendly service to your guests. FOOD WAS AMAZING! Always tasted FRESH from a farm, and so delicious! We stayed 14 days and wish we could have stayed longer. Many grateful Thanks to our Host: David Miranda. So Helpful & Friendly~ ADRIAN AT THAI! What a gifted Chef you are- the dumplings, Tom Khai Soup, Sea Bass, and my fave- Shrimp Tempura. Thank you my friend and your staff for many a delightful night! Thanks Henry at Thai for our AMAZING strawberries jubilee. Marco at Kalmia, I hope they promote you as you are a Gem! Angel at Mexican Restaurant- you the bomb:). Caesar at Rosato, 4 times we dined with you-Gracias. Just a few suggestions: spa slippers Please, wrecked my sandals in the sauna & steamroom, and don’t walk around with bare feet. Probably Pandemic related… Main Bar smells like Grease when Sushi bar open, had to move away or get covered by grease smell! Marquee in Lobby ( have one at Coral Beach) that tells activities of the day/ week. QR code is too small. Bartenders were awesome, wish we could see more of their faces, but the masks… nice people! Loved our stay, we’ll be back!

Hotel's Favourite
This was my third time at FACC, however, the first time was in 2003, before it became an All-Inclusive. I was so impressed with it back then, that I decided to come back in February 2020, and would have returned again in 2021 if it were not for COVID. Finally, I made it back for visit#3--FOR 18 NIGHTS-- in February 2022. I am already planning visit #4 for next February! As far as I am concerned, this is about as near perfect as it gets in a winter vacation. The location and the facility are impeccable, and I will get back to that in a moment--but it is the friendliness and superb service from the staff that will get your attention and tell you that this place is special and in a rare group of resorts that have distinguished themselves from the others. The dozens of staff members that I interacted with daily were the most amazing and friendly people I have ever encountered while on vacation--and its not a fake "they are paying me to be nice" friendliness. These are genuinely nice people that are a joy to engage with and who remember your name and will take the time to chat with you and ask you how everything is going and whether you need anything. Whether I was eating in the buffet for breakfast or dinner, or in one of the restaurants, I was instantly greeted and escorted to a table of my choice by many wonderful people. I am going to attempt to acknowledge some of these amazing staff members but I know I will be omitting the names of many more. Please accept my apologies for any omissions. A BIG shout out to: Los Capitanos Eladio and Ignacio as well as Hostesses Ellen, Carlene, Sandra R. (buffet), Samantha, Guadalupe, Sandra H. (Mexican Rest.) as well as waiters Emiliano, Alexis, Eliseo, Marco, Henry, Salvador, Luis, Alberto, Ricardo, Juan-Jose ("Jota Jota"), Antonio, Pedro, Ismael and pool waiter Oscar, as well as Chef's Oswaldo, Martin, Joseue, Martin, Manuel (pastchero) and Marco. Alan in the morning Panaduria was very sweet. Always smiling. Gabriel, Niceforo and Obed were also excellent and super friendly. Your coffee cup or water glass wont be empty for long with any of this wait staff! I cannot speak highly enough about all of them. Each time we went back to the buffet, our empty dishes were cleared away before we returned. THE FOOD!!!!!! The food here is absolutely amazing!! First the buffets: (there are two distinct buffet locations) The breakfast and dinner buffets as well as the "specialty" buffet nights of Mexican, Yucatan and Asian are gustatory sensations!!! You wont go hungry here! There are abundant choices for every taste bud. Just notice the variety of jams as well as the extraordinary amount of fresh fruits, nuts, seeds and yogurts at breakfast each morning along with countless other hot and cold items as well as an omelet bar with just about every conceivable additive a person could want. The dinner buffet is just as endless. Despite staying here for 18 nights, each time I went to the buffet (whether morning or night) it was an extravaganza that I never got used to. This is quite spectacular and in talking with many different people during the course of my stay, they also agree that the food here is the best of any place they had been. There are many repeat visitors to this property and almost all of them mention the staff and the food as the number one reason why they return. Just about every day (if not every single day), around noon in the center of the pool area, a large barbecue happens with either fish, chicken or steaks as well as an array of grilled vegetables. Always a surprise set against the constant backdrop of pool music and activities. You cant help but have a good time here. Now the restaurants: In addition to the Sushi bar, there is a Thai, Italian, Mexican and Steakhouse restaurant as well as a Civicheria. We went to all of them--some multiple times or daily. The Italian and Mexican restaurants are standouts with attentive service and top notch food. Our waiter Daniel in the Italian restaurant was amazing. Shout-out to you Daniel!! The cevicheria was a favorite of mine. The whole fish and mixed ceviche were outstanding as was the guacamole and fish soup!! I paid extra and upgraded my steak to the Rib Eye with grilled shrimp. It was quite good but I found the shrimp to be a bit on the dry side. The service was excellent!! The Thai restaurant was good, but in all honestly, it was not the authentic Thai food I am accustomed to having back in the states, and in all fairness I did not expect it to be. The particular restaurant I go to back home is owned by Thai people and is in a league all by itself. My partner celebrated his 70th birthday during our stay and the buffet staff at breakfast surprised him with a fantastic birthday dessert complete with sparklers. Again, in the evening, at the Mexican restaurant, they brought him another surprise dessert with more rocket sparks!!! Sushi chef Roberto did a GREAT job at the sushi bar. He was a nightly favorite before we had dinner. The bartenders will make nearly any drink you can think of and there is one bartender (I don't recall his name) who made one of the best Negroni's I ever had outside of Italy. Ivan is also another great bartender. Just watch these people work and you will be able to see that they know what they are doing. These are experienced workers and do a great job. The waiter Daniel in the Italian restaurant was amazing. He made us a special coffee for dessert that involved fire. It was amazing to watch him do it. My point in saying all this is that these staff members merely don't go through the motions because they are told to do so, but rather, they put their heart and soul into what they are doing as a matter of pride. Maybe its just the culture in Mexico, but its a rare day to see quality effort like this in the United States. One night, at the dinner buffet, I had the chance to speak with the "Jefe" Misael. I wasted no time in telling him how impressed I was with the staff he oversees and the great job they do. My shout outs continue: Santos at the front desk gave us great assistance at check-in and ensured that my sister (who joined us for 7 nights), would have a room next to ours in the Sun Tower. Darlin who handed out towels by the pool was another great guy. Our maid Yaquelyn was great and kept our room in tip-top condition. It was always easy to locate her if we needed anything. Sarahi was so nice!! This property is immaculately maintained. During the course of our stay, groundskeepers continually trimmed, cut, plucked and watered every garden and grass area. Painting and maintenance was continuously observed throughout our stay. Pool waiters routinely picked up cups and containers from the beach. There were always multiple lifeguards on duty at the beach which is a HUGE safeguard because the undertow can be severe on certain days. I had an episode with the undertow and the lifeguard quickly recognized it and ran toward the edge of the beach ready to assist me. I went to the Spa twice for a hot stone massage. My only regret was that I didn't go back a third time. Dafnee was AMAZING. The Spa is a celebration for the senses. It is aromatherapy and color therapy wrapped together with the sensation of touch and relaxation of sound. Eighty minutes of pure bliss. Felipe at the front desk recognized us from our February 2020 visit and greeted us with kindness. This is the specialness of this place that I am talking about which is so hard to find elsewhere. Felipe is so nice and oversees the initial stages of relaxation in the Spa with hot towels around your neck, cool facial lotion and delicious fruit tea against a backdrop of relaxing blue light and flowing water. Martin was also very nice and greeted us attentively. My only disappointment with the Spa was that due to COVID, the hot tub, cold bath and saunas were not operating. Hopefully, by next February, these will be back in action. They really round out the entire spa experience and should not be missed. A special shout-out to Moises at the Cancun Adventures desk. What a great guy!! We bought a day trip to Isla Mujeres from him. He was very helpful and made many useful suggestions. FACC is spectacular in all respects but these are the following observations I have that require attention: #1) the rooms have glassware around the bathroom sink as well as above the refrigerated minibar. The rooms all have tile floors. If any of this glassware were to fall and shatter on the floor, a barefoot guest would become terror-stricken about taking step and cutting themselves. I suggest replacing the glassware with plastic for safety reasons. #2) There are only two outdoor hot tubs in the entire upper and lower pool area. Ideally, there should be more as they are overcrowded. #3) During my entire stay, I did not see gazpacho anywhere--whether at the buffet or at the Mexican restaurant or cevicheria. Not sure why, but it would have been nice if it were available. Without a doubt, this is a special place. Its easy to see why so many people come back here again and again. I am one of them and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation. Bravo to EVERYONE!! Job well done!!

My wife and I stayed at the Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun May 6-11, 2022. This was our third time visiting the FACC, the first time being 7 years ago, the second time being 3 years ago. COVID protocols are followed very closely on the resort. All employees wear masks at all times, and guests wear them while indoors unless eating or drinking. A complimentary COVID test was done on site 1 day prior to our departure for home, and the results emailed to us later on the day of the test. We simply showed this email to the agent at the airport while checking in for our flights home. The entire resort is in very good condition and very clean. Some of our favorite food items were chilaquilas and mexican coffee for breakfast at the buffet restaurant, the shrimp and fish tacos and the grilled catch-of-the-day at La Cevicheria, the Margarita pizza at the brick oven pizza stand next to the pools, and the churros at the crepe, churro & ice cream shop . We did not eat at the San Telmo steak house restaurant. At the el Mexicano we enjoyed the beef short rib and the tortilla soup. Our favorite restaurant was the Rosato Italian restaurant. The shrimp wrapped with prosciutto, spagetti with carbonara sauce, and the caprese salad were our favorites! We were sad to find out that the La Cantina shorts bar was closed while we were there. We were told however that it may re-open within the next 6 months. We do hope that it is open when we return. There is live music in the lobby bar most nights, with karaoke one night. There are live shows in the theater some nights, with a Mexican Show one night and a Michael Jackson Show one night while we were there. We have gone to the live shows in the theater in the past and enjoyed them, but did not go this time. The employees at the FACC are all extremely friendly and do all that they can to make your vacation special. A few of the employees that stood out to us were Concierge David, Mosquito and Eduardo from the entertainment team, and bartender Pedro at the swim up bar who remembered us from our prior trips. Also, Guest Services Manager Roberto Velazques. They helped make our vacation special. We will definitely be back to the FACC for a 4th time, hopefully very soon!

My husband and I both work in the hospitality industry. We treated ourselves to what was supposed to be a nice getaway before our busy season began. We stayed in the last week of March. On the second day, my husband got out the pool, was walking back to our lounge chairs (overlooking the ocean) he slipped on the tile floor, falling, and hit his head on an empty umbrella stand. I was in the restroom at the time this happened and returned to see a crowd of people surrounding my husband laying on the floor covered in blood. Thank goodness we made friends the first day with an EMT, Pre-med student and firefighter which responded immediately and advised not to go to the emergency room in Mexico. I saw at the time that an incident report was completed, pictures were taken and our drink server was interviewed. Once, we were able to contain the bleeding, we were escorted to our room by Pablo, the head security manager. A doctor was called on site- which later evaluated for a concussion and stitched up a large gash on the side of his face. We were told someone would be in constant contact/communication with us . I was frantic, and immediately started searching for flights back home. I went to the front desk to find someone to speak to. Pablo eventually came and assured me everything would be fine, would give me a copy of the incident report and would spend specialty foods that my husband would be able to eat. As the evening went on, we realized that this was extremely serious- he was in excruciating pain, his swelling/bruising continued and was unable to move his jaw. I went back to the front desk, demanding to speak with management and for them to accommodate the changing of our covid tests (for us to fly back home). After standing there for 20 minutes, I did not see anyone and felt completely blown off. I asked the front desk if they can help change covid tests- and were told they did not have anything available until our current scheduled time and that the facility was closed for the evening. We sat in our room for the following day, as I monitored my husband's health and attempted to call management by phone (also another fail attempt). I walked out to the pool deck where the incident took place, hoping to take pictures myself to quickly notice that all the umbrella stands have been conveniently removed and employees were "squeegying" the pool deck tile from the pool water. The morning of our departure, I couldn't have been any happier to leave this property. The second we got back to our home airport, we went straight to the ER. After a CAT scan and Xray, we found out he had a double jaw fracture and a broken jaw. He had to have emergency jaw surgery, followed by being wired shut for 5 weeks. You never think something like this could happen to you in a foreign country, but unfortunately it happened to us. It has now been close to a month and a half after this incident. After writing 15 emails to various email addresses, whatsapping messaging and phone calls to the resort, we have yet to receive any correspondence from management.
