This was an amazing dining experience. The food, the service, the music. It was a lot of people having birthday celebrations so all the waiters came together to sing to the birthday guest. I would recommend our waiters , Miquel and Elias. They took great care of us.

My wife and I along with our daughter (18 months) visited Grand and I'm currently sitting in the bar enjoying a cocktail while my lovely ladies take a rest. Where to start? First, this resort is enormous. Built years ago, you can see the age, but it's also its charm. From the moment we walked in we were treated by 6 star service (No 5 isn't enough) If you're annoyed by the words my pleasure, go to another country. Mexican culture makes US culture look laughable. Those of you pissed by this statement are pissed because you know it's true and to argue would be simple minded. Things of note: They have a 24k show you need to book for Sundays only. As well, Tuesdays and Thursdays are complimentary Isla Mujeres excursions (leave by 1030, get to concierge by 945) and schedule a couple days in advance. Book your dinner reservations in advavce . Thank me later. Take no bill larger than 10. Thank me later. Order from the Pool. (Isla Contoya side) Carlos, server at the pool, was the best service experience we received at this hotel, and that's not to take the service at other parts lightly. He's a 7 star. Ask him about room 666. He made our vacation great at the pool. Not one location deserves this gentleman, but if it has to be one, let it be Grand Fiesta. I truly hope my older daughter one day gets to come back here and meet this young man. He's an all time keeper and this is coming from a 25 year restaurant manager. He's Aces!!! Also, if you forget your cigar cutter, Isabel outside of the le Basilia is there to take care of you, plus she's an amazing my pleasure service just like all of the employees here. Look, I'm not going to fully sugar coat. Not everything was perfect. 2 food experiences were not the greatest. But most importantly, what wasn't lacking was the brilliant service. As a former restaurant manager, look, not everything foodwise is perfect, but dammit, the service better always be. Here, they understood the assignment. This resort is one of the greatest vacation experiences we've had in 16 years with me and my wife. And the fact we brought our 18 month old and it was perfect makes this review fool proof. Thank you to this wonderful resort and to your incredibly well trained, perfectly courteous and efficient staff. Your safety covid protocols, brilliant staff and my pleasure service will stay with me and my wife and our daughter forever. Until then, enjoying our last few hours with la Joya and the Fiesta tonight. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We are already talking about coming back. Top-notch hut hospitality in excellent setting.. Very clean excellent food. So much variety and a staff that loves what they do. You must visit all the restaurants especially the Italian restaurant with Chef Charly, and his wonderful wait staff Carlos. Much appreciated. Paradise on earth.

Hello guys, this is my fifth visit, I never publish reviews, I'll do it for the first time because I think it's worth it. On my previous visits it was very uncomfortable for me and my family to order more sodas, chips or beers because the guys at the minibar did everything wrong, they brought the order incomplete, wrong or they didn't bring anything at all. They literally ignored my request. But now I got a big surprise when I saw a cute girl in charge of the minibar, gentlemen, what a difference in terms of quality of service, miss Ana is not only a very kind person, she is also very attentive and great service attitude, she made us feel really comfortable. May be y should consider including more girls in this area, the boys are a disaster. Thank you for everything and we hope to return soon. Tnks. …

Service and food was excellent. Every course was great. Couldn’t wait to see and taste what was next. Nicasio, Roberto and Miguel worked together as one unit to provide and inform us on every we were being served. We were entertained by ballet dancers and even met the Chief (took photos with both of them). Le Basilic is a must when visiting Grand Fiesta Americana!!

Exceptional customer service by Elias and Raul at the Italian restaurant. Loved the Ravioli, risotto and dessert. The food at the buffet- Vina Del Mar, Coral Cafe and Isla Contoy is mediocre but the food at La Joya, Naah K Aax and Chainti Trattoria was delicious. I don’t recommend Isla Contoy, please don’t waste your time there.

Elias was great! Very attentive and helpful. Food was very good, especially the salad and Alfredo! I would highly recommend this place! Raul was a great support as well. Did i mention the salad!!!! Management was very attentive to Enrons in the restaurant and the chef even made rounds checking on everyone!

Overall an amazing stay. Food was great everywhere I went. At the beach, pool, breakfast and dinner. Tacos at the boho place on the beach.. amazing. Italian restaurant for dinner my favorite. Chef carlos, Elias and Raul took such good care of me and the food was fenomenal! Can’t wait to come back with the family. The spa was amazing - just wished I had more time to stay there All day Hotel with the best beach! Great for families and amazing kids club.
