Very disappointed with this hotel , first time staying at hard rock , the hotel is very outdated , and lacks spaces for entertainment. The lobby/bar looks like an office space, full of desks and no place to entertain or dance , been too many hotels all inclusive and regular ones and I feetl like my money wasn't worth it at all , unless you have or pay for the "forced " membership they don't Even notice you are here and treat you like a 3rd class guest. I came to Mexico expecting to feel like I was in Mexico but it wasn't the case at all , the only Mexican "experiences " were limited for the vip/members only at the terrace. The hot tubs in the rooms were extremely dirty with mold coming out of the jets. The staff at the restaurants were very attentive and nice, on the other hand at some of the bars, pool bar or outdoor bars if they notice you're not a vip member they will ignore your requests and give you the cheapest liquor they have not even give you an umbrella , all the efforts of the staff and management were directed towards the vip/ members only , in other words if you are not buying a membership or planning to buy one DO NOT stay at this hotel , you will be treated as a third class guest! Muy decepcionado con este hotel , primera vez hospedandome en un hard rock hotel, el edificio es muy viejo y le hacen falta lugares de entretenimiento. El lobby y su bar parecen un area de oficinas llena de escritorios y aburrido, no hay lugar para bailar o entretenerse , he estado en muchisimos hoteles todo incluido y normales y por primera vez sento que mi dinero no vale, a menos que compres la membresia forzada la gente del hotel ni siquiera se dara cuenta que estas alli, y te tratan como un huespede de 5ta. Vinimos a cancun para experimentar asi sea un poco de mexico pero el hotel limita esas experiencias solo para sus miembros. Los jacuzis de los cuartos estan demasiado sucios y cuando se encienden botan moho y suciedad, los meseros son muy amables y atentos. Pero los bartenders de algunos bares en especial los de afuera apenas notan que no tienes membresia cambian su compartamiento , te ignoran y te dan el licor mas barato que puedan encontrar. Todo el esfuerzo de los miembros del staff y la gente que trabaja esta dirigida a la gente vip o con membresia , por eso si no planeas comprar la membresia o tienes ya la mambresia NO vale la pena darse en este lugar! Te van a tratar como alguien que no existe y vas a sentir que tu dinero NO VALE ! …

My wife and I stayed a week beginning on the 6th at Hard Rock Cancun. This was our 3rd visit and 1st in January. We had a most wonderful stay. The weather cooperated as we had excellent temperatures and plenty of sun. What really made our stay special were the employees. We had 2 outstanding butlers in Jessica and Hector. From the day we arrived Jessica was there making sure everything was right for us. She set up our dinner reservations for the week and chose wisely. When Jessica's shift was over Hector made sure everything went smoothly and always asked what they could do for us. The beach was our favorite spot and Jessica set us up with a cabana every day. Once there Jesus "Cartel" and the his buddy also named Jesus "Romeo Blanco" made sure to we were never dry, drinks wise. Those two spoiled us with their outstanding service. The resort still has a positive vibe about it that puts a smile on your face and is kept there with the delicious food and drinks provided. The brisket sandwich is soo good as is the burgers and pizzas from the snack bar. Speaking of snack bar the one on the 3rd floor, Rock Royalty terrace, has a very special lady Isabel who works there. Several times She took time to take our orders and let us know she'd be there for any thing we needed, even from our walk out patio on the same floor. All these people is what makes the Hard Rock Cancun special. We'll most likely return next January. The restaurants were very good with excellent service. Ciao, Ipanema and Zen were our favorites. We ate breakfast at Zen the last morning there and Carlos and Gray made our last meal there special with their kind attention to us. We did attend one of the evening shows Studio 54 and what a great show the entertainers provided. The resort is nice and well maintained. One thing management needs to do is make sure the ATM machine works. The last 4 days there it was out of order so we had to go a mile down the street to get cash for tips. We ran low after 3 days as the workers work their buts off to make sure everyone has a pleasant time.…

Wonderful experience. I was enjoying of all the amenities and decided to take a dip in the beach before getting ready for dinner. Like many things that happen in the unexpected ocean I felt a sharp pain in my arm. Something seemed to bite me and the second I came out of the water and rushed to my daughter the team of life guards came and attended to me. Helped ease my nerves and cleaned and attended to my wounds properly. The main lifeguard was Sarahi Matadamas she wouldn't leave my side till she knew I was feeling better and informed me of all the next steps. I'm not sure of the names of the rest of the team but multiple people rushed over and gave me everything I could need. My biggest thank yous to them

Stayed at the Hard Rock Cancun for the long weekend with my fiancé. I’ve been to other HRHs but first time in Cancun. It was amazing! Service was outstanding, great quality top shelf drinks, the view is incredible. The pool concierge team (Tacho, Angel & Edwin) went out of their way to get us premier pool chairs and umbrella each day. Awesome service and always could count on them. Our server at Ciao, Carlos, was one of the best we’ve had. His Mexican coffee at the end was delicious! The entertainment staff was incredible, and all of them were great. Big thank you to Christian for helping us find a song we wanted to use for our wedding intro- we appreciate that so much! Great crowd, great views, hamburgers are the best. Definitely worth it even if we only had 3 nights to enjoy.…

Very beautiful, must visit. Workers are very friendly and attentive.Our butlers were AB and Hector and they did a great job on making sure our needs were met and that we were having a great time. They speak Spanish and English so that was very helpful.

This property is very intimate which provides for exceptional service and a great time. Because the property isn't big, you truly get to know the staff and it makes the experience much better. There's personalized service throughout, staff is really friendly, and there's nice activities on and off property. Highly recommend!

Had a great time in Cancun. Easy to get to from the airport, beautiful views and great food. Gerkyl and Neto were amazing butlers who’s dedication to detail went beyond what was expected. The surprise private dinner they did for our 25th and room decorations were so thoughtful. All of our requests were done without delay or need of reminders. Thank you both. ❤️❤️ A special shout out to Carlos who always had a breakfast mimosa ready for us on our table. 🥂

Horrible experience. We were invited to the hotel by the Legendary Vacation Club company. Please take my advice into consideration and do not get scammed. It was a huge waist of our time, at the end they offered us a day pass as a “gift certificate” which I am being charged for now. They also offered 2 all inclusive tour experience as an incentive to go hear their offers which at the end we would have to pay expensive transportation if we accepted so we just ended up wasting a full day of our vacation time :( The resort was deficient in many ways. If you want to experience this beautiful part of Mexico look for a better option worthy of your money.

This is my husband and I’s second trip to HR Cancun- last one being in 2018. We truly loved it both times though there were some notable changes, as to be expected after 5 years. The food was very good- the romantic dinner by the beach was gorgeous. We spent majority of our time at the pool and had the best service from Principe- he was AMAZING and made you feel like you were the most important person in the pool even though he was serving well over 20 people at a time. We did miss the taco bar that used to be by the pool but the burgers and pizza held us over until dinner. Maintenance was being done at the time but honestly we didn’t notice the noise much as we were just focused on enjoying ourselves. Our ONLY major complaint is the pushy sales to become Legendary members which did not occur at our first visit there. Granted, we got a complimentary romantic dinner by the beach to sit through the 2 hour “presentation” , but, we were feeling constantly pressured to say yes after repeated no’s. But if you can deal with that and hold your ground, it was a great experience and we will be back! …
