My wife and I stayed in a honeymoon suite from Dec 27 - Jan 4. The room is not huge by any means but certainly roomy enough for two. The view from the room is absolutely gorgeous! We never got tired of it. The jacuzzi tub was huge and we enjoyed it a few of the nights there. Our butler surprised us with rose petals spread around it one of the nights. The food was very good indeed for an all-inclusive. I am certainly not a food expert in any way but every meal was delicious. Lumiere, the French restaurant was unbelievable. It was a 5 star experience. We also really enjoyed Bella and Yama. We spent most of our days either by the pool or on the beach. The beach is one of the best in the hotel zone for certain. Very well maintained. We also used the gym regularly and participated in a few of the offered classes. It is the overall quality of service that sets this resort apart though. The staff work exceptionally hard to ensure each guest has a great vacation. I mean all staff! We had interactions with staff in nearly every department and all were kind, considerate, and energetic to meet guest needs. It is rare to receive such service these days. My wife and I spent a lot of money on tips but looking back I wish we have given more. Please tip generously at this resort, the staff deserve and earn every dollar! In conclusion, this is not a place to go if you need constant activities and abundant nightlife. However, if you are looking for a totally relaxing vacation where you will be pampered, where you will have delicious meals and drinks, there are few places that will match Leblanc! My husband and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary at Le Blanc Cancun 12/31/20 to 1/8/21. We had never been to Le Blanc and were able to book through a member, using a promo of buy 4 nights, get 4 nights free. So we were very pleased with this deal to say the least! In fact, we'd looked into booking without a member/promo and decided it was too expensive; we love going to Beloved in Playa Mujeres and our money could go a lot further at Beloved. But when we got this deal, we decided to go for it and book the trip to Le Blanc. We do a lot of research when planning our vacations so we knew that Le Blanc is the #1 rated resort in Cancun. So, we had high expectations because of the resort's reputation. I'd say overall we really enjoyed our trip, but I don't know if the resort lived up to the "hype" for us. I would probably rate our trip an 8.5 out of 10. Here are my thoughts on the resort, broken out into different categories. Grounds/Facilities/Décor Le Blanc is a very beautiful resort. Everything is impeccably maintained, from the lobby to the bars and restaurants, to the pools and grounds. The resort was renovated in 2019 so it's got that new feel, but you can tell they also work very hard to make sure the hotel is kept clean and beautiful every day. I definitely noticed and appreciated this immensely. Another thing I like about the resort is that everything is very easily accessible. It's not a huge, sprawling resort, where you have to take golf carts from one area to another. I love a resort where you can walk from your room to any restaurant, pool or the beach in just a few minutes! The rooms are beautifully decorated, but they are on the small side compared to other Mexico resorts we've been to. I do wish the rooms had actual balconies, rather than the "Juliet-style" balconies, but overall, I was pleased with the room. Spa The Le Blanc Spa is very relaxing, peaceful and tranquil. We splurged and booked a VIP Suite treatment called Magic. The VIP Suite is a private room that includes a steam room, shower, sauna and jacuzzi tub, so that you and your partner can have a private hydro therapy session together. (If you do the regular hydro therapy in the spa, men and women are separated, so couples can't do the activity together.) While in the jacuzzi, they offer you champagne, sweet treats, and a veggie/fruit/cheese platter. Then, you get a couples 80 minute massage. This VIP Suite experience was really special. On our last day, we booked another couples 80 minute therapeutic massage. (We wanted to do the four hands massage but they didn't have availability; we should have booked further in advance!) Again, it was a wonderful experience, and a great way to end our trip on a relaxing note. Beach The beach at Le Blanc is fantastic! Beautiful blue waters, nice foamy white waves, and soft sand. Some of the days we were there, the waves were really rough, which my hubby prefers. The other days, the waves were calmer, and I enjoyed that. So we got the best of both worlds while we were there. And no matter if you decide to get in the water or not, the view of that beach is incredible. We thought it was one of the best beaches we've visited. Food/Drinks The food at Le Blanc lives up to the hype! We were surprised how good the food was for an all inclusive resort. I think out of our 8 night stay, there was only one meal that slightly disappointed. At Yama, the Japanese restaurant, one night my hubby's sashimi was still frozen and his sushi roll had stale rice. (I will note that the server asked if something was wrong when my hubby didn't finish the dishes and he offered to bring him something else, so the service was very good.) When we went back to Yama another night, hubby re-ordered the sashimi and sushi to give them a second try and both were good that time. Every other meal was great. For breakfast, we tried the buffet and room service and both were good. (The dulce de leche croissant muffin is divine!) For lunch, we tried the buffet, Terraza, and the beach service. (The Le Blanc Burger was delicious.) For dinner, we tried all of the restaurants - Bella, Blanc, Yama, Terraza, and Lumiere. Lumiere was our favorite. (I loved the Beef Cheek and hubby really enjoyed Lamb. We both loved the brioche bread, which the server said was 80% butter!) For "second dinner" (come on, it's vacation!), we enjoyed the late night room service menu. (The chicken nachos were tasty!) For desserts, we tried the Glace ice cream stand and the K'akau coffee shop and both were wonderful. (Crepes at K'akau were both fun to watch and yummy.) Bottom line - the food at Le Blanc is impressive and delicious. The drinks were pretty good, too. The different restaurants and bars each had their own cocktail menus. Some cocktails were great, others were not for me, but it was fun trying different things! I'm not too picky when it comes to alcohol, so I was satisfied with the offerings. Hubby probably would have enjoyed a larger selection of scotches, but they did have a few he liked. Entertainment We enjoyed the evening entertainment. We didn't catch much of the low-key lobby entertainment in the early evenings because we were usually at dinner, but we attended most of the later evening acts - mentalist/magician, circus show, Michael Jackson show, burlesque show, and live band. All the acts were fun and we really enjoyed the live band. We celebrated New Year's Eve our first night at Le Blanc and it was wonderful. There were a few different locations where staff were serving drinks and desserts (lagoon pool, main pool, and third floor area off the foyer). They handed out champagne and little bags that each held 12 grapes because it is a tradition to eat 12 grapes at midnight on New Year's for good luck. There were fireworks above the hotel, as well as fireworks that could be seen from other resorts, too. We had a great night ringing in the new year. Service - Pros Overall, the service at Le Blanc is excellent. When we checked in, we asked if there were any upgrades available (we had booked a Lagoon View room). We ended up getting a complimentary upgrade to a Partial Ocean View room, which was wonderful because we were able to have a view of the ocean and a view of the lagoon, which is the side where the sun sets. We were very appreciative of this upgrade. The resort also made sure to help us celebrate our anniversary. They decorated our room with rose petals, provided a bottle of champagne on ice, and provided some beautiful petit fours that said "Happy Anniversary" on them. Also, at Lumiere, they put rose petals on our table and our desserts there also said "Happy Anniversary" on them. Most of the staff members are very friendly and very attentive. Some staff members go above and beyond and really make you feel well cared for. Here are some staff members who really helped to make our trip enjoyable: - Marco is the Butler who showed us to our room when we first arrived. He did an excellent job welcoming us and then he unpacked our belongings while we went to dinner. When we got back to the room, everything was so beautifully unpacked and arranged! It definitely set the mood for a wonderful vacation. All of our interactions with Marco were pleasant. He's just very professional and polished and was a delight. - Angelica is a fabulous pool server at the main pool. At the beginning of the day, she introduced herself and told us that she would take care of us all day, and she sure did! She stopped by frequently, always had a smile on her face (masked face!), and was just a doll. The next day, we had rented a cabana on the beach, but when we were walking by the main pool to go grab lunch, she saw us and stopped to say hi and asked why we weren't sitting in "our spot" at the pool from the day before. This tiny little interaction was very sweet and made us feel very well cared for. - Lucinda is a super sweet and cheerful pool concierge. Whenever we took a spot at the pool, she would come and set up our towels and put up the umbrella for us right away. One time, she even saw us getting out of the pool, so she came over and gave us towels right at the steps of the pool, carefully draping them over our shoulders. She is funny, too. She was making jokes about "Mexico Time" (i.e. being relaxed instead of in a hurry to get something done), but she sure did not operate on Mexico Time because she was always so prompt with her service. - Francisco was a great server at K'akau and we saw him most evenings. (Yes, we took full advantage of the beautiful and delicious chocolates and desserts there, stopping by almost every night!) Francisco was not a talkative young man, but he was very polite and professional and he did an excellent job plating and saran-wrapping our desserts so that we could take them up to our room to enjoy. - Ofrei was our bartender most nights at Cavo. He took great care of us and we never had to wait too long for him to come by to take our next drink order. A couple times, he just brought us another round of drinks without us even ordering them. Also, there was one night at Cavo where it was the most crowded that it had ever been during our stay, and it looked like Ofrei was flying solo (most nights there were at least two bartenders at Cavo). He still provided great service that night. I was impressed. Service - Cons While it's true that most of Le Blanc's staff members provide excellent customer service, we did have a few interactions that left us disappointed. Most of these issues were very minor, so they didn't have a huge impact on the enjoyment of our vacation. But, for the #1 rated resort in Cancun, we were expecting more. - The hotel app is not great. We thought we were going to be able to make restaurant reservations in the app, but we couldn't. We also thought we could book spa appointments in the app, but the app just takes your request and then someone from the spa has to call you to actually book the appointment, then you have to go down to the spa in person to give your signature confirming the appointment. The app has a "My Calendar" feature, but your restaurant reservations do not get added to the calendar automatically. This probably sounds really nit-picky, but I think it's actually better to just not have an app at all, rather than having a lacking app. - We ordered some amenities from our Butler through the hotel app and they didn't get delivered to our room at the time we requested them. So, we texted through the What'sApp feature to inquire about our order. They asked us what we wanted and when we wanted it (they didn't really explain why our app order didn't get processed). So, we just re-ordered everything through text on What'sApp. Not a huge problem, but a little annoying that the Butler order through the hotel app just didn't get fulfilled for some reason. Later in the trip, we did other Butler orders through the hotel app and they were delivered just fine, so I guess the unfulfilled order was just a glitch. - We ordered some of the artisanal soaps. The next day, we ran into our Butler at the elevator and he asked how we liked them and we said we really enjoyed them. I told him that I wanted to try all of the different kinds that they have and he said "yes, of course" or something to that effect. The next day, we ordered more soaps through the hotel app. Also, we got two new different Butlers assigned to our floor. When my hubby ran into one of the new Butlers, he indicated that since we had already ordered some artisanal soaps, we could not order any more without a charge ($4 per bar Blanc Benefits, plus fees); this seemed odd to me since the previous Butler said "yes, of course" when I said I wanted to try them all. Anyway, my hubby said that was fine, we would pay for the soaps. But then we still never got them. So we went to inquire about our order and the second new Butler was at the Butler desk. He told us that they were delivered. We said they were not. He said "yes, my partner delivered them" and we said "maybe there was some kind of mix-up because we didn't get them" so he finally said he would check on it. The next day, I think we ended up speaking to both Butlers about the soaps and they said something about having to get them from the spa, but then the spa didn't have them, so there was a delay, and yada yada yada - they finally delivered the soaps and told us there would be no charge. I know this is a ridiculously long story about soap of all things, but it was a little hiccup that left me a bit annoyed, so I'm sharing in my review. - On our first morning at Le Blanc, someone contacted us to say that she could help us with "reservations." When we met with her, it ended up that she mostly needed to explain our Blanc Benefits to us and ask us if we wanted to view the membership presentation (we said we were not interested and were pleasantly surprised that she did not try to change our minds). After she explained everything, we asked if she could help us book restaurant reservations, a spa appointment, and a cabana rental. She said she would help with the restaurant reservations and another employee would help with the spa and cabana. She wrote down our requests for restaurant reservations and then told us she would finalize them and send them up to our room in a note for us, because we were heading straight to the beach after booking everything. Well, later, we never found the restaurant reservations note in our room, so we texted through What'sApp to inquire about it. They texted back all of our restaurant reservations for the week. Then much later that night, when we got back to our room after watching the nightly entertainment, there was the reservations note in our room. But, it didn't line up with the info we were given through What'sApp. So the next day, we had to go to the concierge to ask them to confirm what our actual reservations were. It turned out that the info given through What'sApp was correct and the handwritten note was wrong. Again, I understand that little mistakes sometimes happen, but this was kind of annoying. - When we first got shown to our room and our Butler was showing us around, he asked if we were celebrating anything special, and he noted down in his notebook that our anniversary was on January 7th. Then, on January 6th, when we got back up to our room after spending the day on the beach, our room was decorated with rose petals and there was a note wishing us a "Happy Anniversary" from our Butlers. Oops, they were a day early! Obviously this isn't a big problem, but it was a small hiccup. - The day before our departure, we spoke with our Butler and made arrangements for him to come pack our belongings the next day. He also asked us what time we were being picked up from the resort to head to the airport and he suggested that we should have the bell service come pick up our bags to bring them down to the lobby 10 minutes before our pick-up time. We were being picked up at 12:45, so he noted down in his notebook that bell service would pick up our bags at 12:35. He also arranged for a late check out for us, since check out is 12:00 but we were being picked up at 12:45. The next day, the packing went beautifully. We were waiting for our bags to be picked up at 12:35, but when no one came, we decided we would just head down to check out and notify the bell service desk that we needed our bags brought down. When we got downstairs, my hubby went to straight to checkout and I went to the bell service desk. I spoke to the person at the bell service desk, and he looked at a printout on his clipboard, and it showed our room number, last name, and the time of 12:45. He said "yes, my partner is getting your bags right now." I went to join my hubby to finish our checkout. Then, my hubby received a text that our transportation, USA Transfers, had arrived at the hotel. A minute later, he got a phone call from USA Transfers and it was hard to understand them, but they said something about us changing our flight. We were so confused. We said "no, we have not changed our flight, we are just waiting for our bags to get down to the lobby and we're ready to go." We continued to wait. The person I spoke to at bell service came over to us and said "it should just be a few minutes, sometimes the freight elevators are backed up." We continued to wait. Still no bags. Finally we went to ask the person at bell service to please check on our bags. He texted someone, then came to tell us it should just be another few minutes. Finally, our bags come and the person with our bags tells us that his notes said our bags were to be brought down at 1:30, so that's why they were late. Then, as we're finally heading to the airport, our driver tells us that when he arrived at the hotel, the person who had brought our bags down had told him "no, they are not leaving until 1:30" so that's why we got the phone call from USA Transfers asking about a changed flight! I was pretty pissed off about this miscommunication. It ended up delaying us from leaving the hotel by about 20-25 minutes. Luckily we were just fine getting to our flight on time, but it sure put a bad taste in my mouth leaving the resort this way. [I feel like I need to reiterate that I understand that most of these things are very minor! Please know that we are very courteous, polite and reasonable hotel guests. We are providing this feedback to help other travelers and the resort, not to complain or be malicious. ] In summary, overall, Le Blanc is a fantastic resort. The facilities, grounds, décor, beach, spa, food and drinks, and entertainment are top notch. The service is excellent most of the time. I would definitely visit again and recommend the resort to others.

Pros: I 100% recommend Le Blanc Spa & Resort in Cancun if anyone is looking for a relaxing, fun adult only getaway! 🌴 25 minutes drive from the airport, 5 minute drive to shopping 🌴 The food and beverages were top notch, with fun extras like the chocolatier, hot churro cart, ice cream stand and popsicles in the spa 🌴 Service was impeccable 🌴 Butler service included - everything from unpacking our bags to drawing baths 🌴 Activities and nightly entertainment 🌴 Three pools, two swim up bars 🌴 Fabulous spa with complimentary hydrotherapy treatments 🌴 The resort size was perfect. Everything was close if you need to run to your room or get to dinner. Plus makes it easy to meet back up with friends you make. 🌴 Beach with powder soft sand, crystal blue water & seashells 🌴 Lots of fun people to meet & hang out with throughout the week 🌴 Rooms with beautiful views, complimentary mini bar & room service, jacuzzi tub, diffuser with scents of your choice, pillow & hand crafter soap service and so much more! Cons: ❗️The booking process was frustrating. I received a confirmation and reservation number via email that stated I needed to do nothing more until I arrive only to find a few weeks before my trip that it had been canceled. Then I had to go back and forth with a manager to get my original rate. ❗️Upgrade: I requested an upgrade and agreed to the extra $230 rate they quoted me. This was also the rate difference between the rooms on the website. When the concierge emailed me two days later, he said he misquoted and it would be $400 per night to upgrade! Quite the difference. Again, I contested it and rd dived the originally quoted upgrade rate...but be careful. ❗️Before arrival, the concierge was very slow to respond to my emails. It would take 24-48 hours to get a reply even if I responded to him immediately. I was concerned their speed of service would be the same at the resort. Once we arrived, everything was impeccable. I would ask for the resort to provide a smoother experience before arriving. ❗️I wanted to make our dinner reservations and plan excursions based on the nightly Entertsinment at the resort, but five days before our arrival, the concierge didn’t know the schedule for nightly Entertsinment do we missed almost all of it because our reservations overlapped each night. ❗️Super small issue: We were not informed that we could cast to our TV nor given Instructions on the tricky way to switch the channel to English. All channels, except news, are in Spanish. We discovered the options on the last day ❗️When we arrived, we were not informed that our all-inclusive perks included access to several other sister properties. We found this out later through other guests. ❗️The app should show dinner reservations in the “schedule” section ❗️We had to call security while seeing a very disturbing event on the beach from our balcony and security never went to the beach and never followed up with us. Despite a few issues, I’d still recommend this resort and give it five stars. Enjoy! 🌴☀️🌊

If you are going to Cancun, this is BY far the best place to stay. I have stayed at numerous ALL Inclusives all over the world and this far exceeded every one of them. I would go as far to also say that It was better than a Ritz Carlton and other 5 star Hotels that I have stayed at. The food at all the restaurants was Amazing, poolside food had a huge selection and also delicious. Service was outstanding everywhere you went. COVID Protocol was top notch and cleanliness of the resort was impeccable. You could eat off the floors. LOL The one thing that also stood out was I felt that every person there LOVED their job and wanted to make your experience a memorable time. The value for the all inclusive price is well worth every penny.

Le Blanc is a beautiful boutique luxury resort with amazing service from every staff member. I loved my butler who booked all my dinner and spa reservations and he even prepared a hot bath for me every night before I returned to my room after dinner. Pampering at its best! The food at all the restaurants is over the top delicious. The spa is amazing and I highly recommend it. Le Blanc tops any resort in Cancun for food and service. It is adults only so it is a perfect place for a romantic and luxurious getaway! Oh, and the staff is constantly cleaning and taking COVID precautions. I felt safer there than any place I have visited in the US.
