I suppose for the price, considering it's Cancun, the place isn't horrible but I honestly wouldn't return. The front desk experience was fine and the lady that gives you city info there was very nice, but the elevator is a little aggressive and scary, the room was very humid and had a strong smell of cigarrette smoke, the bathroom didn't...

This hotel is not bang up to date in terms of decor. However, the staff are very helpful and pleasant, the rooms are clean and adequate and it is VERY convenient for the bus station if you intend to leave Cancun the morning after you arrive on the plane.

As our favourite hotel was full, we booked this hotel through a deal for a couple of nights before flying back home. The room was a fair size, the bathroom small, the TV was a big vintage thing from the 90s and there was internet only downstairs in front of the reception (what hotel cannot afford to install a few...

Stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights on my way to my other destinations. The hotel is somewhat old but not bad, rooms are clean and the Mayan architecture is lovely. The pool is the most outstanding aspect of this hotel and where i spent most of my time. Wifi is available, i have no idea if breakfast is included...

Last year we also stayed at this downtown, inexpensive Cancun Hotel. This year we noticed some changes and not all for the better. This year the front desk staff was nearly all non-English speaking. We often played charades to get our point across. Last year there was always someone who spoke English. Also there use to be water coolers on...

I was tempted by the very cheap prices and the pool and the artwork and all of those are neat. The patio is great and the people are kind, but man.... rooms not ready hours after checkin. Bumping salsa from either the in-house bar or the bar across the street, all hours of the night. Here is a list of...

Stayed in the hotel zone one night dislike the prices. Came here for our last night and because it is right across the street from Pescaditos Restaurant and the park to go walk around at night with the locals. We had previously seen the hotel when we went to pescaditos and made a mental note to check it out. We...

We chose Xbalamque hotel Spa because its impressive Maya decor and its central location in Cancun Centro. What a spot on choice! while the hotel is somehow 'aged', it is nonetheless well maintained clean and shall something needs attention, the hotel staff response is casi-immediate! All staff have been utterly friendly, professional and responsive to all our queries and needs!...
