The best thing here was the view at sunset, the pool, and Javier at La Bodega (great/attentive service, super nice). If you're someone like me who enjoys being comfortable, I'd think twice about staying here. The rooms had an old building stench that slaps you in the face every time you entered the room, dirty sheets, and the cosmetics of the room just needed a severe update. Don't get me wrong, all the staff (lobby, restaurants, cleaning staff, etc) were friendly, but I wish the vibe of the lobby matched the rooms. It was so bad, I was so lucky I had bought my concentrated B&BW spray. The food was so overpriced too, when it wasn't even that great.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The resort was spotless. The staff were friendly and eager to serve you. There are activities for the kids, kayak and jet ski rentals just a few yards away. The beach was magnificent - soft white sand and crystal clear water. We felt very safe having our kids swim here - the water was shallow and depending on the weather, very calm. Day trips to other islands and attractions can be organized right from the resort. Shopping and restaurants are close by if you choose to wander around the area. The rooms were clean and spacious. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend Fiesta Americana!
Family hotel with timeshare use. Clean with a flare of Mexico decor. Rooms are slowly being renovated. Pool and beach are nice. Restaurant menu needs updating and prices are tad high. The staff is will make your stay exceptionally pleasant. I’d like to thank the restaurant /beach members especially Nefi, Rafaella, Luis,Ricardo, Paola, Gabby, Lia, Santos, Nattely, Bartender Jose, their daytime and Evening supervisor, Lifeguard Charlie. The following maids Tere Sanchez and Maria. I especially want to thank A Soto for handling a few issues I had. At checkout, the front desk is generally efficient but it was understaffed and give yourself a minimum 30 minutes if you have transportation booked in advance
We enjoyed a full month from feb 9 to march 9 of during our vacation. The advantage of this hotel is that you feel at home away from home: from the reception manager Alexandra Soto to the groom Rodrigo, everyone will do anything to please you. The personal is respectful and smiling. Thank to Luz who advertises the benefits of the spa, I took two massages and was impressed by the professional therapists, the cleanliness and the peaceful ambiance. We had a few days very windy but in general weather was ok. We only had one day with sargassum due to the strong winds but it was gone the next day. Due to the half moon shape of the construction, every room has an ocean view. Laundry facilities are available on each floor.
The staff are so friendly, especially the lady who checked us in Cyntia. The view of the hotel from our room is just sensational! Nice place to stay. Very central and have nice access to the beach. Recomended
We are Fiesta Americana owners who had not been to this resort for over 5 years. We spent 12 great days in a 2 bedroom unit with another senior couple.. Ask for the units with the larger balcony if in a 2 bedroom, most are on the 3rd floor. Even though the rooms are rather dated, they are clean and the bedding comfortable. The best point for us was the fantastic service staff and the smallness of the facility.. we felt like family. Its beach is very swimmable with lovely sandy bottom for yards out. The main restaurant has a great view and is usually not crowded. This is not all-inclusive so be prepared. It is located in a great spot close to restaurants and the grocery store, all within easy walking. If you do visit ask for Tania as a concierge she is amazing and so helpful to assist with anything needed to insure a great stay. …
This resort is a must go if you’re looking for a chill and relaxing experience. The staff from checkin, concierge to wait staff were super helpful and always willing to please. Customer service was A++. The accommodations were basic and not super fancy but clean and spacious. The beach is perfect! Never had to fight for a chair, great wait staff on the beach and the water entry is like steps into a giant pool. Very cool. Relaxing time. Highly recommend this little gem.
Excellent beach! Amazing staff. Missing Neffe’s presence while on vacation. He keeps all chairs, table tops so clean ! Lifeguards coverage 7a-8pm. Thanks Charlie & co-workers. Luis, Ricardo & Rafaela keep our drink & food needs taken care of.
We had a great time at the resort. The rooms were clean and modern. Our room overlooked the gorgeous pool area and we could see the blue waters of the gulf. The resort is just far enough from the noise and party area (Spring break) but close enough to be able to walk places. We especially enjoyed the restaurant called La Bodega. The food was excellent but the staff really made our experience special. A special thanks to Javier, Olivia and Saira!
My son and I came for Spring Break - Papa had to work. The pool and beach were lovely - also NOT overrun by crazy party times. Plenty of English and very cheerful service. We chose to eat most meals here because of these factors but also went to the grocery very nearby for pastries and snacks, including lunch. The breakfast buffet is stunning and the same quality as much more expensive locales. I loved seeing all the Mexican families doing the same. The towel guy was concerned when I said my sinuses were stuffed and gave me his personal tea bag. Shout out to Saira and Marcos at La Bodega, where Olivia will grill your food a few feet away, exactly as requested. We’ve been elsewhere in Cancun but will be back here.
