We enjoyed two days at Mayaland for our anniversary. The grounds are beautiful including the three pools. The staff was wonderful and everyone was very helpful. Our room was fantastic with a large soaking tub. We were there during the off season so not crowded...More
The resort is located just beside the Chicken Itza ruins and there is a private entrance too to the ruins. So, it made it very convenient for me to visit the ruins. The concierge can arrange a private tour guide. The resort has a swimming...More

This is a classic 1930s hotel with additions. The staff were so very helpful - we arrived at the Chichen Itza visitors entrance at 5pm in a tropical downpour - there were no taxis to get us to the hotel and we were stranded. I...More

Sorry, I don't know, as we were a group of 3 adults. But, the prices, in general, were very reasonable. The price of a guided tour with a very knowledgable guide was just $80 for the 3 of us for 3 hours. I would strongly recommend staying at the Mayaland Hotel, so you can enter the site in the early morning. (You can walk right into the site in 5 minutes.) The heat is pretty brutal at mid-day, and it's best to complete your tour before 11:00 am or so.
We felt sorry for the people just arriving at 10am or 11am by tour bus. Brutal heat.
