Location: Excellent to the archaeological site (2 min. to the ticket booth) Reception staff: Friendly but often not able to help. Room interior: Average However stained glass windows did let strangers look direct in to the room Room indoor climate: Definitely not OK. Many old wooden “louvres” leaked very badly, and let large amount of warm and humid air in...

This was place was perfect for us! It is 150% worth it if your looking for a secluded quiet resort in the middle of the Mayan Jungle, this is the place. It met all my needs, Clean, great food, quiet, 3 pools, secure, amazing staff, and gave us a real experience of the ruins. Since we wanted to be able...

I stayed here for one night while in Mexico so that I could visit the ruins. The property is absolutely stunning. I stayed in a room with a view of the observatory. the room was enormous and had a great balcony, the bed was not the most comfortable but was not uncomfortable. I did not dine at the hotel, opting...

The hotel is big and there are lots of vegetations, with ponds and trees and gardens. The bungalows are decent, but there is no wifi appart near the hotel reception. There are multiple pools, which are surrounded by transats. There is a spa and bars at which you can enjoy refreshments. The restaurant is good, slightly overpriced but it's reasonable....

We are saddened by the poor grade you have given us... We try very hard, and WiFi is one element totally out of our control. The service is provided by legacy carriers and it is poor. We have invested tens of thousands of dollars to have the best possible signal... and we provided for free. Hopefully you'll visit us again...

This hotel is directly adjacent to the ruins - all you need to do is walk 50 feet!. The hotel is outstanding in every way, from service, to tours available, to restaurant food and quality, to perfectly designed and furnished rooms. Fabulous. It is a five star resort in every way. Everyone at Mayaland has total focus on the guest...

Courtyards ripe with beautiful flowers, vines, bamboo, and amazing trees! I saw a peacock and several HUGE koi fish in the pond. The pool is state-of-the-art. The buffets are wonderful! You can't stay much closer to the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza. This hotel has had guests ranging from Jackie Kennedy to Grace Kelly! A place rich with history.

I have waited more than a month to write this review, as I wanted to management to apologize for the character of their staff. I felt it was right for me to attempt to contact management about my bad experience before voicing my views to others online. This has not happened, here is my experience. Unfortunately, the experience absolutely ruined...

We arrived around lunchtime and were negatively overwhelmed by the mass of tourists frequenting the buffet style hotel restaurants, bus load of tourst groups even "conquered" the private areas for residents only and wandered through the beautifully landscaped gardens. The location could not be better, private secure parking, direct access to the ruins of Chichen Itza from the hotel grounds,...

I stayed at Mayaland with my family for our Christmas vacation and I was pleasantly surprised with the location and views from the hotel. It is so ecofriendly with the ruins and still you are able to get a fantastic view and experience. The vibe of the hotel is so amazing and the service is wonderful! The team at the...

I was in chichen itza 25 years ago and went back for one night. This hotel is super special, built in 1930 and full of history. The decor is full of taste. Amazing wood carving on doors and furniture, beautiful stain glasses and a very romantic restaurant with deliciuous food. Staff very friendly. We got room 22 ! Loved it....
