We decided to stay at the Lodge at Chichen Itza to visit Chichen Itza instead of staying in Cancun and taking a daytrip to see the ruins and it was totally the right call. This place is amazing. They take great care of you in every way and the fact they have their own private entrance to Chichen Itza is...

We just came back from a 5 day Monograms/Grayline Mysteries of the Mayan tour. We started our adventure at Chichen Icha, where we stayed for 2 night at the Lodge at Chichen Itza. The stay was Awesome, we were given several choices of rooms and we ended up staying in one of the bungalows at the lodge next to the...

After reading all the poor reviews, our expectations were low, however the resort was actually very good. We spend 3 nights, the food is good (just stay away from the buffet that is frequented by the day trippers) there is pizza café and restaurant both serving good food at lunch. At night there was also a BBQ grill option which...

Thanks for your visit. I can't tell you how hard we have tried and the disproportionate investment we hame made to provide the best WiFi possible everywhere in our resort... still trying.. but our legacy carrier and the limitations imposed on them by the limitations archeologists place given the site (and we all understand why, we are inside the aroueqlógical...

The hotel is situated in well maintained and lovely gardens, swimming pools dotted throughout. Our room however had 2 small double beds which weren't able to be changed. We did not request a twin when we booked. The porter who helped us with baggage was very helpful. On checking in, we were informed of the evening sound and light show...

Stayed in the bungalow which was very nice. Although the price point is quite high. For this hotel I'd highly recommend the $199 room and then access Chichenitza very early in the morning as the park is an easy walk from the hotel. The grounds are lovely with beautiful pools. The main restaurant is nice but over priced. Overall a...

This really does feel like a theme park experience, the rooms are nothing special and rather sparse. Ours was noisy since they have no windows only shutters and netting. we arrived to no bottled water in the room and it took 1 hour to arrive. the pool man arrived with a pool towel and some shampoo (that we already had)...

From time to time, I am remainded that some people see the darkest side of a day and fail to enjoy the beauty and kindness that surrounds them. The ticket office to enter the temples is government run. Tickets have different prices depending on age, occupation, nationality,

Nested in a luxuriant tropical garden manicured with perfection, this beautiful hotel offers a superb halt on your tour of the maya ruins, with top class service. We stayed here 8 years ago and returned with pleasure. We favored the bungalows in the garden, with offer a calm environment and beautiful views. They are all decorated with mahogany, which adds...

We just spent 2 night at this fantastic quiet hotel. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable and are unique. The grounds are very well maintained and we enjoyed the natural setting with many iguanas and birds. The pool was quiet and nice. The quick walk to Chichen Itza was a definite plus. Food was average. Hotel has plenty of history...

A wonderful option for Chichen Itza, with its own private entrance. Bungalows are large and comfortable with lovely bathrooms and leaded, stained glass windows. The entire hotel complex is beautifully decorated and in gorgeous grounds with huge trees and rolling lawns. Restaurants are good and there's a great bar. Staff are friendly and efficient and the shows at the Planetarium...

The location, their own entrance to Chichen Icha, the comfort of the bungalows, there is not a lot more that you can wish! You can also book your own guide with them for your visit to Chichen Icha. Restaurantsare OK with reasonable food.
