Great rooms but can only get double beds but not really a problem. Immaculately kept up. Had good TV, wifi, refrigerator. The best location for everything. The drinks at the bar were expensive but good and the server's were excellent with just the right amount of attention. Loungers were not good although they had a limited amount of shade and... More

This is a dated hotel but for the price the location is amazing. Right in the middle of town and right on the water. I mean from every room you could throw a rock in the ocean. I snorkeled every day we where there. Not all inclusive but many restaurants in walking distance and the no name bar and restaurant... More

Booked this place to stay in January, for a dive trip in July 2016. Am familiar with the hotel from past visits. Oceanside, pool, swim up bar, sunsets, boat pickup at dock for diving - all sounds perfect. Problem is, we were not told that the hotel rented out the pool bar, and all surrounding tables to the 'No Name... More

The work staff are kind and positive and the atmosphere is laid back and fun. If you want Cozumel to feel less like 'senor frogs' and more like a relaxed vacation, this is a great place for you. Cheap food and drink, GREAT ocean entrance, and an AMAZING pool.

Stayed here two nights on a quick vacation. Great value for the price. I believe all rooms have Oceanfront balconies, which come equipped with two chairs. The views are lovely. Recommend top floor for best view. No elevator, but no problem. Good snorkeling right off the shore of the hotel, and stairs to the ocean provide easy entry to the... More

From what I have been reading there has been a lot of negative comments regarding the beds/mattresses at the Barracuda Hotel. I am very happy to write that they have purchased new mattresses - they are something like memory foam. Extremely comfortable. I am at the hotel right now and saw the mattresses changed out. As always the staff is... More

We stayed Feb.15-19. Our room was clean and overlooked the ocean as advertised. Convenient to the downtown area. Our front desk was helpful and very honest. They were very helpful to make our stay comfortable. We liked the idea the water was 15m+- from our room. The pool area clean and can get busy from the nearby cruise port. Enjoy... More

Great beach and snorkeling, cute attentive staff, centrally located close to centro, terrible beds :( Now, their prices are great and this is prime location, they just don't invest enough on the sleeping part of the experience, should be an easy fix they have everything else

We visited the Hotel Barracuda in February and had a wonderful stay, The front desk was wonderful, especially Gregorio who helped with any question or concerns we had. We were there for snorkeling and scuba diving and this fit the bill for our family (two adults, two kids). Dive Paradise has an area and lockers for your equipment which was... More

This hotel is good if you're on a budget. The rooms aren't so great and there is only wifi in the lobby but the pool and beach are great. The onsite restaurant and bar are extremely expensive. I would not recommend eating or drinking here. Walk next door to Jeanie's and the food/drink is half the price. The mattresses are... More
