We were staying in Cozumel at an AI, but decided to branch out on our last night and stay in town. Found the Flamingo thru tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! Especially since we only paid $50, and that included a delicious hot breakfast. (Go thru the hotel's website to get that deal--Travelocity's price was $79 w/out breakfast!) Room was nicely...

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. We wanted you to know that we recently invested in a large commercial boiler with a recirculation pump and now all of the rooms get plenty of hot water in just a few seconds. We hope to see you again soon. Thomas Fryer

We stayed in the Penthouse Suite for a week. The suite is basically the entire top floor of the hotel. Traveling as a family, it is difficult for all of us to fit in a standard hotel room. The suite has two rooms and plenty of beds for all of us. We had our own private patio to watch the...

The Flamingo in Cozumel gives new meaning to affordable luxury. The place is kept meticulous and is squeeky clean on all 4 floors. Rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and each room features multiple pieces of original art gracing it's walls. The friendly staff has been trained to perfection and happily responds to your every need. Ivan, head bartender is a...

I previously stayed here one other time. I still believe it is a great value. The hotel has a cozy feeling to it that feels more like a bed and breakfast the a hotel. It is within a short walking distance to some of the best restaurants and bars on the island. If you book through Flamingo Hotel's website the...

Thank you for staying at the Flamingo, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Ivan who is our head bartender, was on his honeymoon that week so we did have someone covering for him who was not a regular employee. We pride ourselves on the personalized service that we give to our clients, so we very much appreciate any comments...

This was our first trip to Cozumel. We will never go anywhere else in Mexico again! We stayed in the penthouse suite with our friends (a total of 4). The place was super clean, beds were amazing, and the views of the sunsets over the ocean were breathtaking! The staff was friendly and very helpful to point out the best...

A short three block walk from the ferry, this boutique hotel is a hidden gem! The spacious "superior" room has a view of the quiet street and the ocean. Breakfast is made to order in the morning. Many nice details mentioned in other reviews. Our only complaint is the prevalence of English in all the signage, and staff trying always...

This is definitely one of those you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. It was an absolutely amazing stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. For one of the cheapest stays, I was blown away. This was more like a Bed and Breakfast suprise. The breakfast there is awesome and definitely recommended so make sure you...

Upon arriving quite late in the day, the bartender/receptionist Ivan was incredibly friendly really made us feel @ home (I think he should get a raise). The room was spacious, with a small balcony & beautifully decorated. Location was great, down town but no noise! I will for sure book here again!

Our group of friends came to Cozumel for the water, the sand, and to escape our Wisconsin winter! The Hotel Flamingo was excellent. In fact, our stay felt more like a Bed & Breakfast! Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. There were plenty of "outdoor" areas to read and relax in, and the roof-top area was perfect for...

My fiancé and I were in Cozumel last month and stayed in Hotel Flamingo. Overall it’s a nice place to stay but there are definitely some negatives. Positives: Hotel is close to everything. The decor is very nice and the rooms are nice and clean. The staff are also very friendly. The upgraded breakfast is very nice and well worth...

Thank you for choosing to stay at the Flamingo. We appreciate your constructive comments. The room you stayed in was #32 and we were having some issues with the air conditioner that were being repaired at the time. We finally replaced the entire mini split unit and there are now no more issues with noise. The mini splits are quiet...
