Amazing place with an extremely friendly staff. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy and it has a decent breakfast. It is a little dated but it has charm that I enjoyed. Plus it is right in town so you have lots of choices for lunch and dinner. We would stay here again! Around the corner is our ChaChaCha Dive Shop which is a bonus.

This is my second stay here, both for one week to dive, and love this place. I love the rooms on the terrace. Everything works, is spotless, has fast internet, is extremely safe, quiet, and charming with the pool just above the malecon. Breakfast is included and you have Mexican choices or omelets, waffles, pancakes, etc. I have been told normally they have a huge buffet, but covid is preventing that. There is a 7-11 smack downstairs and a huge market with anything you need less than a 5 min. walk. The Aqua Safari dive shop is 2 doors down, and the dive boat picks me up right across the road. How much better can it get than that? Maybe one thing: I see a fridge below the TV in a cabinet and it's not plugged in.

We enjoyed our stay at the Casa Mexicana. It is in a great location for wandering around downtown Cozumel. Our room was clean and comfortable, and had a nice balcony. The included breakfast was fresh and delicious. We arrived just before a small hurricane, and the hotel had room service available for us (since all of the restaurants were closed). The wifi was not always very strong, and I often had to stand by the doorway to our room or else head out to the lobby to get connected. Other than that, we really enjoyed it!

Other than the plastic balcony chair breaking that never got replaced and the difficult time it was to find a bartender it was an enjoyable stay. Clean. Good breakfast. Nice pool. Awesome location. Would definitely stay again. Make sure to check out the Thirsty Cougar down the street.

The employees are awesome, and I appreciated the recommendations. Breakfast was great, although a la carte instead of buffet due to covd. Clean spacious rooms, great water pressure and comfy beds. I feel like the properties is stuck in the 1990s though. I would love to come back whenever they do a remodel.
