We loved Villa Las Anclas. The location is conveniently close to good restaurants and stores, the room is clean, comfortable, thoughtfully equipped, and laid out nicely. The staff is helpful, courteous, professional, and friendly. We will definitely stay at Las Anclas again in the future.
Excellent property, clean, near everything, courteous service, 8 large 2 level apartment units. Very safe and private location. Has small pool, nice garden and bbq area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to great restaurants, dive shops, shopping. One block to ocean.
wasn't sure when booking if this was a room with common areas or a full room with kitchen and sitting areas - it's the latter. Two levels with sofas and dining table downstairs and bed & bathroom upstairs. Tons of space. Just an incredible comfy place with no surprises and an incredible hostess - Carla.
Its location is very convenient, close to everything, but on a quiet street. The rooms are large (over two floors), have everything you’d expect in an apart-hotel and are well appointed. The AC works really well. The internet is very fast - you could easily work from home from here. Everything was super clean and kept that way throughout our 4nts there. The small pool is lovely and the common outside area can be used for BBQs. All the staff were absolutely wonderful - genuinely friendly and personable. We had a problem with our shower and it got resolved within ten minutes - with a new shower head being fitted. It was also good value compared to the larger hotels on the island and given what’s on offer. Look forward to returning!
My wife Paula and I were staying in Playa Del Carmen for three weeks so we decided to pop over to Cozumel for night. Seeing as it was just for one night, and I was going to be fishing all day, we didn't bother checking out the fancy hotels and resorts. Instead, we read the TripAdvisor reviews on Villas Las Anclas and decided to give it a try. What a great choice that turned out to be! This place is fantastic. From the super clean bathroom's to the well appointed rooms, this place just blew us away. Even the tiny swimming pool area gushed with a tranquil, Zen-like energy. We could not have been happier with the accommodations and that is not even the best aspect of this hotel. By chance we ran into the owner, a charming lady who promptly offered us two delicious pieces of Rom Cake, no charge. Cesare at the front desk was wonderfully helpful as well, but the star of the show was Rosie, who checked us in and supported us in so many ways. It was like having a best friend who just happened to be working at the hotel. She really understands the meaning of the word hospitality. Thanks again Rosie! I wasn't overly impressed with Cozumel and am not sure I will ever return, but if I do, you know where to find me. Kickin' back at the Villas Las Anclas.…
