Wow! What a great out of the way place. Peaceful, low key and well priced. Lunch next door at Coconuts is not to be missed. What a gem. Breakfast is yummy and included in the price. Dinner is fresh catch of the day with a nightly menus change. Wait staff is amazing friendly and extremely interested in your comfort. We...

We had seen this hotel on a previous trip and wanted to stay here. We were not disappointed! It was relaxing, charming and the ocean views amazing. The breakfasts were wonderful as were the dinners we had there. We will definitely go back! All of that being said, I had the unfortunate incident of having all of my jewelry stolen...

I've lived on the island for 14 years - it's about time I decided to enjoy this true gem on our island! After a grueling tax season and 3 months apart, I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with some real R & R. I booked the Tortuga suite over a month in advance with Ricardo. He was responsive and attentive...

We had booked this room knowing that the east side of the island is off the grid. During our stay, we would not have known this. The power that comes from the generator was never interrupted in our room. The rooms have sliding glass doors that back up to the Caribbean. When open, a lovely breeze cools the room very...

My husband and I stayed at Ventanas for a week in March for the 3rd year in a row. The beach, the waves the solitude is why we chose this hotel several years ago. There is no TV, no radio, no computer (although wifi in reception area). The rooms are clean, spacious and adorned with Mexican tile and wood. We...

This is the third year in a row that my husband and I have stayed at Ventanas. We discovered this hotel - the only one on the east coast of Cozumel - four years ago when we took a scooter ride around the island. We determined that the following year (2013) we would spend a few days at this amazing...

We stayed for one night in top floor corner room, Awesome view from balcony. Unfortunately that night it had rained and we didn't get to enjoy the stars. We left our balcony door open to listen to the waves crashing all night..Breakfast was amazing...Very relaxing having no tv, internet etc..nice change..We will be back, but for a longer time.....

We planned a 5 day stay in Cozumel (Feb 26th - March 3rd). We stayed for 3 days at Intercontinental Presidente and then 2 days at Ventanas Al Mar. We surely were a little skeptical about this place since our first 3 days at Intercontinental Presidente was simple awesome. This place surely did not disappoint us at all. We arrived...

My only regret is not having stayed there before they started having the hoards of tourists from Cruises. If Ventanas al Mar is still so appealing even today, it must really have been paradise until a few weeks ago before they opened to this new "adventure." My wife and I really loved the location, the beauty and sense of isolation...
