We visited Privilege Aluxes to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The whole experience was so relaxing! The service was incredible. Dany was attentive and kind on the beach. Jaime at the front desk has an amazing personality. The food was delicious and everything, right down to the scents in our room, were perfect. Fabulous place and fabulous service!

Beautiful beach and tasty drinks. Guacamole salad is a must, of corse. Dany is the hardest worker on the beach. He can be my server anytime. Find him, grab a chaise lounge and chill! Thank you amigo. See you next time!

We’ve been to this hotel one time before in April of 21, and decided to return because of the great experience! We have traveled to different resorts in the Caribbean for the last 16 years and have decided that this is our favorite resort. The property is small and quaint and the service is continuously improving. For being an Island Resort they obviously have limited control over some thing that would be easy to overcome if you were in Cancun; however we have experienced some the best hospitality here than at the other resorts we have stayed at in Cancun and Cozumel, Getting to the island is a bit of the hassle, but well worth the trek. I would recommend that you book your own transportation from the Airport to the Ferry, then Hotel because I was not that all impressed with AIG - the company that does the transport for the hotel. We paid for “private transfer” each way (due to COVID) and today, upon our return we had to travel with three other couples... and we did not travel back to the island on the ferry. We were transported on a “private boat”... that was very scary. Older boat, operated by two locals off a less than safe dock. It was not what we paid for, and certainly not what we expected. I would have rathered our private transfer and the ride on the ferry. Nonetheless, we arrived at the airport on time and safe. I would Ike to compliment Ophelia, the front desk manager who is always prompt and on-point regarding service and hospitality. She exemplifies customer service. The waiters in Food and Beverage work very hard and very long hours. I saw several at breakfast, and again for dinner....late dinners. Ruben, Ricardo, Martine, Fernando, Elise, Antonio, Eferen were all outstanding waiters in the restaurants, pool service and beach service. I would recommend that a little more attention be directed to the food service in the various restaurants for dinner. The Brazilian dinner is extremely lacking... you are basically served all sorts of meats (very small portions) in a rush. It seems to be an interruption of he wait staff. Since you have to make reservations for this, I was expecting an “experience” and instead I felt very rushed through dinner. Additionally, the meats were not that good; cheap cuts and either tough or all fat. I would not recommend this dinner experience. Also, room service takes way too long for coffee; once morning I waited almost and hour for a pitcher of coffee, and another morning my coffee was never delivered. No biggy because I was already ready to down to the restaurant.. .but I’m noting this so that are aware and can improve. Also, anytime I ordered food from room service it always got to my room cold. F&B Director needs to stay in hotel under an assumed name and experience the service that his / her staff is providing... because in the room service area, it is lacking. Front Desk - Outstanding! Reservations - Outstanding - already booked for next year with Gisselle! Bellmen - Outstanding - Javier was great! NOTE - these folks work hard and for those of us privileged to be able to come and enjoy this part of the world, should tip. If you came form the USA please tip! These individuals work long and hard to serve us, and we should be generous with our appreciation.
