My wife and I stayed at XBULU-HA for the second time for 10 days, Sep-Oct 2015. Again the staff was very pleasant, helpful and always smiling. Juan Carlos and his wife, as well as Gabriel, could not have been more accomodating. The one diwnside is that it is located about 2 football fields from the water, but then again, if...

We were in room 2, upstairs. Two twin beds. Small but adequate. Amenities: Safe, good size shower with shower head mounted about 7 ft up (I really liked that because I hate ducking my head to take a shower!), nice high sink area, hair dryer (didn't use) flat screen tv (turned it on maybe once? The neighbors said there was...

We visited Isla mujeres for 2nights after a couple in cancun. This hotel is absolutely perfect for what you need on the island. Rooms are lovely and clean. Wifi is strong. Staff were extremely friendly and will help with anything if needed. It's 1 minute from the beach and just behind the main strip of bars but still quiet. Do...

Standard room - got all you need (including safe box). A/C is Awesome, bed is great. The hotel and rooms are very clean. Great towels for beach, even beach chairs. Only tiny minor issue was some noise in the night and morning. Will come back next time as well!

Clean but very noisy, the hotel staff does not care if you are sleeping at 8am, they yell between floors to each other and the sound echos due to the open area between sides of the buildings. its like an alley between rooms and its open all the way up. The hotel is in a great location but I would...

We've been visiting Isla Mujeres since 1988, stayiing at many hotels in town. We're happy to find Xbulu-Ha. It's is a gem, and feels like home. Very clean, affordable, convenient location, and the staff is the best. Returning again this year!

Came to this hotel after few nights in hotel Paseo Del Mar, which was expensive and not worth it at all, and hotel Xbulu-ha is chipper and a lot better. It's clean and has comfortable rooms, good atmosphere and the workers are very nice and kind.

I booked a week at Xbulu-Ha when I was escorting a couple of young women on a graduation trip this summer - they were staying at Cabanas Maria del Mar and I just needed to be nearby. I admit I was worried about staying at a budget hotel because I usually stay at 3 or 4-star properties when I vacation....

Our first few days in Mexico were spent in Hotel Xbulu-Ha, and it was an excellent choice! The staff and owner were very welcoming and accommodating. When the AC in the room we had booked wasn't working, the owner immediately relocated us to a suite, his only available room. It included a small eat-in kitchen, which turned out to be...

We stayed a couple of nights at Xbulu-Xa during our stay on the island and it was just perfect for us. Check-in was nice and easy especially as we had booked that morning and arrived a couple of hours later. The location of the hotel is very central on a quiet street but within walking distance of the Playa Norte...
