We stayed at La Vida Dulce from Feb 22 - March 2. All the glowing reviews are true: the bed, air conditioning, warm hospitality. Steve and Jeri are gracious hosts - available (mostly in the morning) if you need something but otherwise allow you to have your privacy. The property is well maintained, the plumbing and electrical were replaced when...

We have been home a week from our trip to Isla and our stay at La Vida Dulce. Our vacation couldn't have been more perfect! La Vida Dulce is a quaint, beautifully decorated, very clean boutique hotel located in downtown Isla. They have a gorgeous rooftop palapa with chairs and hammocks that is the perfect spot to enjoy a cool...

We have stayed here multiple times. Steve and Jeri are great! Always there to offer advice about the island, quiet clean rooms, excellent location with shopping and restaurants and bars right there, and easy walk to the beaches and the Carib side. When we were there they just got their pool and in the process of installing it, cannot wait...

La Vida Dulce has beautiful rooms with quiet, efficient A/C, tiled bathrooms with toilets you can actually flush toilet paper in, excellent water pressure, and the most comfortable beds I've found on Isla Mujeres. But for me, owners Steve and Jeri Mattox make La Vida Dolce the best place to stay! They're fun, friendly people who've brought their hardworking Iowa...
