My 3rd year in a row staying at Hotel Rocamar and I wouldn't stay anywhere else on Isla. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms and overall hotel is very clean. Some would call it basic, but there's a nice little pool, wifi, a/c, cable tv, a mini fridge and a balcony with the most amazing Caribbean views.

The Rocamar was clean, simple, and a great location just a short walk from the pier. I think each room has a balcony with an ocean view and a hammock (the hammock could have been more comfortable). The wifi was spotty and the bottled water was periodically hot. But overall the place was beautiful and peaceful.

If you are the person that doesn't need an all inclusive style stay and can look past some imperfections found in 3 star places to save yet enjoy your location this one is perfect for you. Here are some bullet points on our decision to stay here and what we found after staying. 1. LOCATION: You get off the ferry...

My room was clean and spacious but nothing special. The location however was great. Only a few minutes away from the ferry terminal as well as the main road with all the restaurants and stores. A great plus was the awesome view towards the ocean, the hammock on the balcony which was excellent to relax, the freely available beach towels....

Absolutely stunning location! We had a third floor room, which was perfect because it was very private and could not be seen from the walking path below. All rooms have an ocean view, with their own balconies! Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean & basic, but had everything we needed. There is a small refrigerator, coffee maker,...

Rocamar has a super location, great ocean view and right balconies. Clean, spacious and sexy rooms, but being ocean front means continuous maintenance. I'm sure two years ago the place looked awesome but you can tell that ocean breeze has passed by. They can do some updates and take the paper signs down and take care of the minimalist deco....

Our family of three had a lovely week at Hotel Rocamar. My husband and I took our teenage granddaughter for her spring break. Fabulous view of the lovely ocean from our balcony. The pool is clean and could accommodate all guests with many lounge chairs and umbrellas available. The staff is professional and helpful. Our room was very clean and...

This room is simply the best in the Caribbean. I'm swinging in a hammock, 20 ft. from the aquamarine blue of the Caribbean Sea in 80F sunshine. All I can hear is the gentle crashing of the waves against the rocky shore while I sip fresh squeezed orange juice. The room in austere but clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. Pool...

We stayed in January. Small hotel. Room was clean and had great view from second story balcony. Bathroom was pretty weird with all glass wall, but you could draw a curtain across. Very quiet and comfortable. Pool was nice. We are SCUBA divers and out door shower at pool was very convenient for rinsing gear. Hotel is 2-3 block walk...

Loved this place! Very nice deck area that included a very nice pool, lounge chairs, umbrellas, tables and chairs. Water dispensers on each floor. Great wifi. Clean rooms, nice bedding, great closet space, safe to store documents. We had nice hot water when when we needed it. Great air-conditioning. Several places to eat, at least two small grocery stores within...
