This was my first stay on Isla Mujeres & from reading reviews from others I expected the front desk staff to be unfriendly. Never once did they smile or try to be helpful, but like I said that was expected. We stayed in the new...More
Location, location, location. The good thing is the hotel is a very short walk from the beach, and you can watch the sunset every night from your balcony. The bad thing is you're a very short walk from the beach where partiers carried on loudly...More
I was looking forward to my stay at the Posada del Mar at the tail end of a trip to the Yucatan. I noted the location on previous trips to Isla and read rave reviews about the pool bartender Romy. Romy was charming and the...More
My wife used to come to PDM back in the day (twenty years ago). It's been expanded since then, but still family owned. There ought to be a 3 and half star rating, because PDM is sort of between average and very good.

Yes they have golf carts on site. I don't know what they charge specifically. I do know that the other golf cart rental companies charge for the day, 24 hrs runs between 500-550 pesos per 24hrs. It is well worth it so you can see the entire island. There is 7 or 8 companies that have them so you shouldn't have any issue finding one to rent and maybe you can get a better deal because you'll be renting for a week. Enjoy and have fun... Lots of great cafes on the Isla.
