I read months of review and everything i read was accurate. Room was basic had cable but only one english speaking channels. Water cooler in patio through me as a drinking water source. Nice if they got a vending machine. Mosquitos got in room through the cracks in door i am assuming or just when we came in and out....

Nice hotel, casual atmosphere and it really is right on the beach. Reasonably priced even at easter and had a really lovely quiet pool. Staff were friendly but overall didn't get that involved. Included breakfast was on the beach in a partnered restaurant and was okay. Toast, coffee and jugo de naranja - on a few days we paid to...

This hotel was right onthe beach. Lovely little garden and pool area, kept very well. You can walk out straight onto the beach. You are right in the town and very close to the Main Street with restaurant and shops. We had a room on the third floor and it was a decent size and clean. The staff were quiet...

Stayed in a second floor tower room and was happy for the most part. It's a bare bones room but was clean and had a little fridge that was great for fresh fruit, snacks etc. There is drinking water available on every floor. My only 'serious' complaint is the party boats (I counted 27 one day) come over from Cancun...

We just got home to Virginia today after spending a week in this quaint little hotel with friends. We upgraded to a king bed in the tower/castle side. We stayed in room 3 and our balcony had an awesome view of the beach. Our room was clean when we arrived and cleaned daily before noon which was nice. The walk...

This is definitely not your upscale hotel but if you like local flavor and don't miss all the bells and whistles this quaint, quiet hotel is great. Lovely courtyard, clean pool, clean rooms. Only complaint is that the employees, while helpful, did not seem to enjoy their jobs. It would have been nice to see a little enthusiasm or a...

Stayed here one night with my girlfriend. We picked the place due to its good location directly by Playa Norte. The hotel is simple but clean. The Staff is very friendly. The best thing about the hotel is the beach bar. The feeling is really genuine and we loved it. On our trip, we visited Playa del Carmen and Tulum,...

I have stayed at this hotel 6 times. I have always had wonderful service. Checking in takes a while but so do many things on the island. Check in takes a while because they have you sign for your room, your safe lock/key, and sometimes the remotes for the tv and air conditioning. The front desk workers (especially Margarite) are...

I think the one thing that is most helpful to know when researching this property is that it is a hotel with a motel quality when it comes to cleanliness and attentiveness by the staff. It's not a bad thing, it's just what you are going to get. The proximity to the beach is incredible, but there are quite a...

This hotel is a minute walk to playa Norte at most. The location is excellent. The room is pretty basic. My biggest complaint is the shower head needs a dip in CLR, the water can go from scorching to cold to non existent. The bed is a little hard for my comfort and you aren't suppose to flush the toilet...
