We visited during January 8 - 12, 2017. We stayed on the first floor facing the street. The room was clean and had a comfy King size bed, mini fridge, tiny tv and a big walk in shower. If you are a light sleeper this may not be the room for you because it is right beside the public area....

Very good location, in front of the ferry stations. Close to all services and beaches. Comfy rooms, Good TV, spacious bathrooms. The manager kind and helpful. Breakfast could be a little better. Fruit is appreciated, but in the second day there were no toasts.

The hotel is cheap, and if you just need a room, then this is perfect. The room is clean and beds are comfy. It's located directly opposite the Ferry Terminal, which is a good spot if you want to party. Room service makes the beds daily. However, wifi doesn't reach the rooms. The breakfast is just fruit, toast & terrible...

The rooms were very clean, and the daily room service was great - thanks to the friendly housekeeping staff you guys rock! The breakfast was disappointing, no wifi in the rooms (its 2016 guys), the showers firstly were cold the whole time, I have also been rained on harder than the shower pressure! Bottom line this place is cheap, you...

All you need to know is that this place is clean, has a strong wifi signal in the lobby and second floor breakfast area, it's in a great location, and the price is fantastic. The owner is nice, always says hi everyday. The best part for me was that it's right across from the ferry terminal, didn't have to get...

This is my third review of the Gomar over many years. I like Frank the Manager so I try and keep people on TripAdvisor up with the Gomar. We stayed 8 nights in March 2016. The Hotel was full. Frank tells me full since last November. My understanding is they decided to put money into the hotel because it was...

We stayed at different accomodations on the island but this one was probably the best value hotel. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommended you get a room on the last floor as you get a great view of the sea. Though the internet connection only seem to reach the ground floor...

We loved this hotel. It was comfortable, clean and safe. The hotel is older and worn. A/c was poor but had a good ceiling fan. We always had hot water, clean towels and sheets. It is walking distance to everything! Frank at the front desk was very helpful. We would definitely stay there again. A great budget hotel. We booked...

On out 1st night, the AC broke down and didn't even bother to transfer us to a vacant room telling us there's no vacant room. So we stayed at a friend's house. The following day, they said they fixed it but when we got back from a day in a beach, we found out it was worst. Not working at...

The hotel was very clean and affordable to stay. Frank and his staff are wonderful !!! The only thing was because its right on the Main Street by ferry dock, it can be loud early in the morning. Carnival was on so it was loud all night. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Beds a little stiff.
