Our room was very comfortable for our stay. The location is within walking distance to the beach and the downtown area with restaurants and shopping. Very reasonable cost for great location in a quiet area.

We love this traditional Mexican Hotel because of the friendly staff, impeccably clean rooms and location! We have been back again and again and will go again soon! The roooms are comfortable and all have refrigerators. It is normally a very quiet place. The central location and proximity to the beach make it perfect for getting to the amazing restaurants... We viewed this hotel and were not impressed. The rooms are small and there is no view. Not particularly close to the beach. They were showing us rooms on the third floor with no elevator. Lots of stairs. Not good for seniors.

This family owned hotel is clean, safe, and a great value... Top that off with a wonderful and accommodating staff (Rolondo one of the managers was especially helpful as well as the owners (a caring family that is on site often to ensure your stay is pleasant) and you've found a great place to stay in Isla Mujeres. The hotel... More

Just to pass the night. That's it. Bed is good enough, there is A/C. We suggest you bring your own amenities, even soap, shampoo or anything else you think you will find in a hotel room, but don't. Is nearby to the north beach, restaurants or anything you might need.

We received a non-smoking room with three double beds, a tv, and a bathroom with a shower stall. A/C was very appreciated! Also had ceiling fan and a small refrigerator. Everything clean and was really nice for the cost. We paid approximately $50 USD/night. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc. Unsecured parking for golfcart next to hotel. We had no... More

My husband and I loved staying in the King suite on the top floor. The weather was beautiful. Relaxing walk to everything: restaurants, stores, shopping, and the beach. Convenient golf carts available to rent right down the street. Lovely hammocks for two on the roof under the trellis. Leave a tip in the tray each day instead of at the... More

The room was small but doable for us. It had a small fridge, ceiling fan and a/c that was great! The bed was comfy. Our room was bottom floor and doors opened up into a beautiful garden. Tv was a tad small but worked well so my husband was happy at bedtime. (Likes his sports or news).

I've visited Francis Arlene three times recently, and this time was the most disappointing. I'd booked through booking.com, but there obviously had been some mistake and we just barely managed to get a room. Thanks to the very nice owner whom I'd spoken to on previous visits, this got sorted out, though. The room was ok, but the cleaning this... More
