22 out of 24 days on the island I was able to spend in the water. The hotel is a perfect location for both the windy side and Playa de Norte. Close to everything, but quiet at night. Wonderful opportunities to practice Spanish with the lovely, helpful and happy staff. I go every year, and wouldn't think about staying anywhere...

Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and helpful. The WiFi is only in the public areas but it's pretty good speed wise. This is our second stay in about three years. Our favorite rooms are on the top floor with an adjoining large rooftop deck. Very peaceful but close to all of Isla's action.

So the hotel is fairly basic and I wouldn't say I would never stay here again, I just wouldn't do so super willingly when there are so many better places to stay for about the same amount of money 150$ per night (per night) and 10$ extra for each extra person. The location is good, the balconies are nice, and...

A cheap and central option - nothing fancy, but the location is good if you just need a bed after a day at the beach and dinner in one of the many nearby restaurants. It looks good from the outside, but is a bit 'rustic' on the inside. It is not dirty, but could use a head to toe cleaning.

Having never been on the Island before, Someone else picked the accommodations. It Is very quiet, and clean. Nothing fancy but very adequate for a few days away. A/C, & Kitchenette The rooms could use some updating, but you can't beat the price!

We have been visiting Isla Mujeres for many years and have always stayed at Francis Arlene. Since they employed a new front of house manager Rolando Leal the service and the quality of the hotel has gone done hill in all respects. Our last visit was at end of July. The prices have gone up 60% in the last year....

The location is great; nice and quiet. The building is quite attractive, and in good condition. However, in the rooms, as of June 2015, the beds are getting very old, as are the sheets and towels. However, for the price, it is hard to complain. Despite being old, everything was still quite clean. The staff were friendly.

This family-owned hotel has been a staple on Isla Mujeres for decades. It is simple, peaceful, and safe. The accommodations are nothing fancy but easy to work with. King bed was comfortable, clean linens every 3 days, refrigerator and AC in room, and access to a purified water dispenser in the interior garden/courtyard. (Just supply your own container.) Book exchange...

My husband and I enjoyed this hotel. We had an ocean view from the deck in room 15. Good king sized bed, strong quiet a/c, small fridge, TV with english shows and very friendly staff. Close enough to north beach, 5 minute walk and very close to restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. We spent 4 nights and had a great time here....
