This is a beautifully decorated hotel with second-rate management masquerading as a luxury resort at a reasonable price. They try to cater to the drunken, obnoxious Cancun crew with the rooftop pool’s massive screen and loud thumpa-thumpa music but have a detailed list of rules in the hotel room about inconsiderate behavior. They claim to provide “luxury” but do not manage the hotel or amenities well enough to deliver on that promise. Complete identity crisis! Since this is a relatively new hotel, perhaps they will figure things out. In the meantime, there are too many lovely hotels on the island to waste a vacation here. I will not return to this hotel due to: • DISHONESTY: Their website claim of a “seaweed free” beach is 100% false. The beach is so full of seaweed that it is not swimmable. • NO PRIVATE TERRACES: There is no privacy from your neighbors on the terraces (architectural flaw) and the hotel does not provide any chairs/tables for the terraces. • NOISE POLLUTION: Playa Tiburon, two properties over, emits an obnoxious Cancun vibe, with its loud music and never-ending stream of boats bringing over day-trippers, a few of whom drunkenly wander over to the Belo beach. • TERRIBLE GUEST RELATIONS: A couple at the hotel was not given the room they reserved, were told there were no guarantees on which room you get and spent their first night in a lesser room while paying a higher rate. • APATHY: At 3:00am, a guest began loudly banging on the door of another guest’s room. Around 3:45am I called the hotel receptionist about it, who told me the guest in his room had been playing his TV loudly for hours and the one banging on the door had complained previously. I asked what the hotel was going to do about it. She refused to respond. The banging continued for 15 minutes. • POOR MANAGEMENT: If you don’t get the all-inclusive package, you must pay separately at the hotel restaurant, hotel pool bar and beach bar. You cannot bill any charges to your room. • UNINFORMED EMPLOYEES: Employees doled out misinformation about the island including: the new ferry schedule, gas station hours, the closest store to buy cigarettes and whether guests can put toilet paper in the toilet. • ANNONYING SALES: Someone was on site selling some type of hotel “memberships”. • INVISIBLE MASSEUSE: There are two massage tables on the beach. I never once saw a masseuse. • THE HIGHEST OF CRIMES!: My waiter told me it is impossible to cook a filet mignon medium rare! Also, there were some issues which didn’t affect/bother me, but might bother someone else: • The hotel preys on island newbies via excessive upcharges to rent a golf cart or get a COVID test. • The hotel lost all power for a short while (it’s an island thing). • One morning there was no hot water (it’s an island thing). • One of the two elevators was always down, sometimes both. • The multiple hot tubs by the pool were closed most of the time. Since the staff is so friendly, I hope that management can tackle some of these issues, decide what type of hotel this is and deliver on whatever promises it makes.

This is the worst hotel in the world. DO NOT STAY HERE. It is impossible to go to sleep because you can listen to everything happening outside from your room. Including what is happening in the other rooms. There is no Privacy. Our room smelled horribly of spout and they did not provide any solution but just to send the cleaning lady to spread some perfume. The smell was so strong that even the cleaning lady suggested to switch rooms. Thwy provided another room for a couple of hours but next door was hosting an after party with several people that were not from the hotel and you could listen to everything so we could not sleep. Some people at the front desk are super rude specially one in charge named Joaquin Saldaña. On top of that, we were having lunch with some friends that were staying next door and my friend droped her coffee on her shirt. I offered to lend her a tshirt and to changr in my room and they wanted to charge me an extra cost for letting her use my restroom. Taking into account price vs quality, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It is surprising how careless they are because there is a hotel next door which is around the same price and it is SO much better. I leave Isla Mujeres with a horrible feeling.

They play this horrendous music all day. Although the hotel is brand new, that's the only positive thing about it. Please stop the music and stop ruining Isla and trying to make it Cancun. We don't want the Cancun vibe here. Please consider turning off the music during the day at least.

we absolutely loved to stay here our 2 nights were amazing! the rooms were big and luxurious, we had the whole pool for ourselves and we had the best food ever the menu is incredible delicious and price worthy. the staff is amazing they work hard to make you feel welcomed and give the best customer service we had in the whole mexico. They provided help with the golf cart rentals and set the jacuzzi on time for us. Our experience here was by far the best!
