Just got back from a week long stay at Bahia Tortuga and can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay there. Danny is awesome and attended to our every need. By the end of our stay we felt like family. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I am not sure what the person who complained expected, but I...

Awesome little place. Perfect pit stop for a great visit and the owner Danny was awesome. Bartender Arin was great too! I would definitely go back and may even stay in the quaint hotel in the future. Nice dock too.

We chose to stay at Bahia Tortuga after the overwhelmingly positive reviews given to it by this site. We were terribly disappointed We have travelled quite a bit and stayed in a range of hotels from backpackers to higher end hotels. We are easy going and not fussy travellers. This was the worst experience that we have had and would...

Enjoyed the music immensely. Nice dock out back for the sunset. Room staff A plus. Bar staff not so much. Room was clean boutique modern. It is away from city center, just a couple dollar cab ride. There are other bars and eateries close by.

First timer on the Isla and didnt know what to expect. From the first step inside I just fell in love with this place. We were upgraded to the best room #5 thanks to the owner "uncle" Danny. The room has a private patio with a great view of the pool, pier and the ocean perfect for morning coffee. The...

Went there twice today... This was a go to spot for us until today. JJ was great and now he's gone? The new staff sat at the end of the bar and ignored us. Being the only ones there and it was 11:30 we left after 5 minutes. Came back for dinner and had the same experience... All be it...

we didnt actually get to spend the night here as we had only found out about this place upon arriving to Isla. I sure wish we had found it sooner!! We did eat/drink and converse here and also took a tour of the place. This will certainly be where we will be staying in the future!! The food, staff, owner,...

As I finished up booking a return visit to BH, I realized that I never gave it a rating from my first trip, 14 months ago (Feb. 2013). Let's just say that it is hard not to love this hotel. The location is a little south of the main district - far enough away to escape the traffic, but only...

My wife and I just stayed April 10th-April 15th at Bahia and had a wonderful time. We have stayed at several of the best Luxury All-Inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean in the past. The Bahia was a nice change for us. The rooms were clean and accommodating. Danny the owner was a wonderful host and made us feel...
