AMAZING! Just awesome service and staff! The rooms are so clean and nice and the beach is just fantastic! The bar/ restaurant service Kalak is fantastic as well and helps me with what I need throughout my days on the beach! Love it here!!!

Simple review, when I arrived at check in the room I booked was a double bed, was not available, so king bed, so a member in my party could not stay with us, lady at check in was extremely rude and unhelpful on what I should do as I asked for help, she ignored me. She left me high and dry on an island I’d never stayed before and after that I literally just slept there, I didn’t use the hotel for any amenities as the disrespect I got at check in to me was too much I stayed 2 nights beginning of may and never again, sad it looked like a good hotel, maybe they should train staff to be a little more helpful with tourists

This is my 1st trip to Isla Mujeres, and came with our family. Ixchel sits on the best beach on the island. We loved our stay at Ixchel. The resort exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return. Best beach service by Eloy! He is fantastic.

The beach service by Chepo and Juanita was the best. We can’t wait to plan our next trip here again. In all of our travels in Mexico, this was the best experience. Chepo was super friendly and went above and beyond to provide information. Food was also great. Five stars!!

I have stayed here now twice and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else on the island. The view/location is great, the service is great, the rooms are nice and clean (and the A/C works great), the staff is friendly... what more could you need? We had a one bedroom suite, that they actually upgraded to an ocean front suite (for seemingly no reason), which was awesome. We were only on the island for a couple days, but loved every second of it. You are on Playa Norte where the sunsets are breathtaking, close to Av. Hidalgo, restaurants, shops, bars, stores, etc. Stay here! NOTE - I wouldn't rent a golf cart from the business right outside the hotel (Luxury Cars). Poor carts - extremely poor service. Walk down a little further and rent from someone else (Indios was great to us).

This place is really nice. We booked through booking.com so we didn’t get a choice of room and were a bit disappointed with our ground floor room. We had a sliding door that walked directly out to the restaurant so using our patio was awkward. That being said, the a/c was amazing and the room itself was nice. The beach has the most amazing water I’ve ever seen and the sand is powdery white. The beach service was top notch and Eloy provided us with everything we needed and always greeted us with a smile and a handshake. All and all we will absolutely return but will book a unit with a view next time.

Had a great time at Ixchel to celebrate our dads 80th birthday! The whole staff was wonderful. From check in, to daily room cleaning, to restaurant staff and beach staff, everyone was so kind & accommodating. Had a minor slip in the pool on Day 1 & the general manager, Mauricio, attended to me very graciously. And checked on me everyday.

The beach is absolutely beautiful and the wait staff is amazing. Ask for Eloy. We made sure we sat in his section every day! The hotel is walking distance from 75+ restaurants and we have never eaten better food. We rented a golf cart right out side the hotel.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. Alexandria, our server in the hotel restaurant was phenomenal. She was friendly and attentive. All is very very good. I can’t say enough good things about our experience here. We are here for the first time. Now we know why the friends we are with have been here multiple times.
