Good location, close to shopping mall, bars, restaurants and there's a convenience store just a block away, staff is nice and dedicated. The property is small and the rooms are pretty basic but with everything you need during your stay, I'll recommend to take some water, and basic toiletries with you if you can, beds are comfortable although I don't think they're big enough (queen seemed more like a double). There's coffee and tea in the lobby anytime, coffee is actually pretty good. Breakfast is served from 8 to 11 I believe, it comes with coffee, tea, juice, pastries, fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs, toast, butter, jam and honey. The only thing I consider can be improved is the pillows which are flat.
Very small room, bed frames were a death trap for sharp corners at shin height. Comfortable bed, good shower. Within walking distance to Vinyl ----- for a beer and some bar food. Staff was very courteous and friendly.
The rooms were small but they were clean. Air conditioning works, the breakfast was good. Great location, access to major freeways. Also easy access to bus line that takes you downtown. Plenty of parking if you're driving. Great location in the north of town.
Stayed here because of proximity to Star Medica/ Uptown Mall area. ADO bus terminal is also nearby. Stayed one night on July 8 in a king size bed on second floor overlooking pool area. Room is very tiny, no closet or room for large luggage. Great budget hotel for those with a rental car or who don't mind using taxi. Breakfast is eggs, refried beans and toast. Next door is a loud bar that plays retro music. You will not hear the music from your room but maybe a good place to grab a drink or two. There is an option to have local restaurants deliver food to your room.
Like all business type hotels this City Express is no different. It provides you with all the basic amenities, including good WiFi, a decent restaurant that serves fresh food (breakfast buffet), parking and a transport service. It is very clean, the rooms are neat and comfortable, the staff attentive and the prices are well within the market standard for properties of this kind. This City Express is located to the north east of the city and would be a good choice if you are looking to visit the nearby Star Medica Hospital, one if not the best hospital in the region. if you are looking to spend a lot of time in the city center then this is not the right choice.
