Ridiculous for the price. I just needed some extra nights for Accor Status Retention and there wasn’t any Novotel or above in the city center. Far too expensive. How can a practically 1 star hotel without breakfast, without a fridge, without 1 international channel cost 80$? Half of the bathroom is broken and cracked, other half moldy. Not even a towel for your hands and the room 3x4 meters. [9 x12 foot] It was clean, okay but that’s about it. Take the Hampton Inn at the same price and get even towels and a breakfast. Preposterous. Remember the De Funès movie L’Aile ou la cuisse? Well, this would be a Tricatel Hotel. Total Rip off ! Never again.

Clean and nicely laid out hotel. Walking distance to El Paseo de Montejo and Walmart. Lobby is cool and inviting. We had to wait 1.5 hours in the lobby before check in and we we able to buy two cokes and comfortably wait. Check in was easy. The hotel is especially clean. Our room with a double bed was very small but super efficient. Small desk area under window and a small bench and separate chair to put stuff. Also a small cubby hole closet with a few hangers. I would have liked 2 pillows per person to prop yourself up as you lie in bed resting. Bathroom was large enough with a roomy counter and surprisingly large shower. We paid for breakfast for the two days that we stayed. Breakfast ended at 10:30am daily and had many choices. Fresh fruit, eggs, a meat dish, beans, cereal, toast, juice and the all important coffee. All was delicious and they changed the main dishes daily. We sat in a very comfortable seating area. For the price we paid being an Orbitz member it was a great stay. Great location and a clean hotel. I would stay here again and highly recommend.

Unlike other ibis, this one is ridiculous, esp the staff. Almost everything in the room is broken - and it also has a bad smell of mold and oldness. And the worst staff we have encountered in all of mexico and elsewhere -totally uncaring and heartless. So really regretted choosing it, really the worst ibis

I stay always 1 night the first one when I arrive to Merida in order tp have a nice and well rest. I use my account with Accor hotels ans receive 10% off always, at the end is cheaper than if you reserve through an agency. I highly recommend :)

We selected this hotel because it is right next door to the US Consulate, the rooms were modern and affordable and they are a pet friendly property. We wrote to the hotel in advance to ask what if any special requirements they had for pets and did not receive a reply. Upon arrival, we learned that the hotel needs a copy of our dog's vaccinations. This wouldn't have been a problem, had we received a reply from the email we sent well in advance - it is hard to come by at 8pm at night, when the papers are 4 hours away. Eduardo was working and saved the day - he allowed us to have our vet forward the documents in the morning and held on to a cash deposit to keep us honest. He was very helpful, providing dining recommendations that were fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable and very well designed, we had a perfect visit and look forward to our next trip to Merida. Thanks Eduardo!

To a platinum member Hotel offered room with just one bed, no table, chair, anything. Cheap. On a flexible stay informed I would cancel and got changed to a Ibis standard room, but on the cheap side, cracked basin and stained mirror. Everything looks cheap and/or old. No amenities in bathroom. No safe box in room. Overnight bed smelled bad, removed pillows, rotated blanket... ended up sleeping with clothes on, a/c at full and window open. Bad smell was there. At checkout I was charged 10% more on a Accor booking. Hotel swears they were not overcharging. Upon booking evidence it took 30 minutes to give money back. Breakfast is expensive for their offering. Better and cheaper options outside. Steer away as there are so many more better and inexpensive hotels in Merida.

This place was reasonably priced and location was great. Rooms are a little small but for the price & location it’s worth it. We basically just slept and we’re off exploring. We ran the 10K rock’n’roll marathon and it started down the block.

I have stayed in Ibis hotels many times in many countries. What I usually like about this hotel is that when we you go you have same level of service and experience. But not in Merida, Mexico. The main complaint I had is that our room was missing many items, like remote control, towels, glasses and a ... table. We called reception and they said, no you have a table . Please check. We said, please come and see ... the cleaning lady came with a remote control and said or this room for your price doesn’t include a table (60$ paid). Then reception comes and say they are sorry, but they ran out of table and they don’t have tables... and No, we can not change the room this not hotel policy. I don’t recommend you stay in this hotel , I am sure you can find other option rather in the city with better attitude towards customers .

The hotel is near the Hyatt Regency which many buses come within a block of the Hyatt. The lobby is basic as are the rooms. There is one small bottle of water provided. That is not good in Mexico since you cannot drink the water without going to a pharmacy. The room is immaculate but very basic. No way to make coffee or tea. The staff is very courteous, but communicating can be an issue. I thought at times I was back in the USA!

Decent hotel in Merida. Rooms are ok, good size and comfortable. The Location could be better, it is a little bit far from the city center. Staff was nice. Good value for money. Recommended for a short stay.
