Reforma hotel is is clean and quiet. Is so near of down town. It has a peculiar feature since is in a older building. Also, it has a pool, air conditioner, warm water (is not necessary), breakfast and is cheap!

Took the ADO bus from Cancun. Costed 80 pesos to reach hotel. Centrally located colonial style with nice pool area, with the Gran Plaza directly behind, one block away. Great to people watch on a Sunday evening. A little concert was happening, people dancing and having fun! Lots of street vendors and restaurants around. Hotel room was adequate. Good AC....

The rooms at Hotel Reforma, as you can see from other reviews (and as others in our group confirmed) vary greatly in size and noise levels. My son and I were very happy with room 225, which was on the quiet side of the hotel and relatively large, with a wardrobe, twin beds, desk, coat rack (bathing suit and towel...

I stayed here while on a G Adventures Group Tour. The hotel itself is a converted hacienda and not a purpose built hotel. The architecture is historic and really interesting. It has a lovely central foyer and rambling layout. Our twin room was in the back of the hotel upstairs, quite a distance to lug a suitcase however also quieter...

I really liked the design of this hotel. There were some really interesting features, such as the courtyard where breakfast was served. I enjoyed the pool for cooling down. The first room I was given was very clean but had a strong bleach smell, the staff were kind enough to move me. My second room was very comfortable and spacious....

The hotel is located very central of main square. The parking is not so far from hotel (maybe 5 minutes) and free of charge for the guests. The room was very nice. The breakfast was standard as we had in other locations in Mexiko. I can recommend.

The good: The hotel is what it seems to be a lovely old house. Location is great. The bad: However, the rooms are not soundproof and we could hear clearly all conversations that people in the next room where having. There was no bathroom towel and the shower was terrible.

A comfortable hotel in a great location just behind the main square. The basic breakfast is fine and served in the downstairs courtyard. Friendly staff. Nice rooms with obligatory towel animals. I needed a packed lunch for a trip which I bought the day before. The staff kindly put it in the fridge over night for me.

This hotel was in a good location and it had a black awning outside which helps you to spot it in the distance. It also has a really nice lobby and a cool view from the 2nd floor down to the lobby and restaurant area which gave the feel of a really nice hotel. However, as soon as I entered...

I am an expat that has been in Merida for 6 years. I found a note on my door at 3:30 pm from the electric company telling me they would be turning power off from 1am to 7am to work on the lines. It's in the 90's... my house doesn't have good ventilation... I work nights... spending 6 hrs sweating...
