If you are looking for a nice inexpensive hotel, in a great location, then enjoy this smaller hotel just blocks away from the Plaza Grande. It is classic colonial, and the rooms are quite cozy. I was totally impressed with the water pressure in the shower and the comfortable bed. When you enter the hotel it is almost like walking... More

My wife and I just spent a week at the Posada Toledo, partly because we had stayed there in 1976. The hotel is squeezed into an old mansion, easy walking distance from the main square. The essential systems work well - it was 40 C all week, and the air conditioning was perfect. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful.... More

This place has the potential to be a very nice little boutique hotel--and I stress potential. If you don't mind slightly dirty floors and interior, and decor reminiscent of what used to be, then go for it. But for about 35 USD per night for a large room with double height ceilings and shabby but charming Colonial Architectural details and... More

For this price the hotel was really nice, the localisation is perfect, just few minutes from the main square. The room was big and cosy, colonial furniture make it really stylish. bathroom was ok, nothing special, but quite clean, toilet seemed new, the same air conditioning - quiet and working well. There is nice patio, and it is possible to... More

The hotel is an old hacienda... Few blocks away from the main plaza. Great location, nothing fancy about place but good old world charm. The whole staff is great and go out of their way for the guests. Would definitely stay again .... Thumbs up!!

Originally a hacienda, this small hotel has everything one could ask for, almost. Location is blocks from the center of town and the cathedral. The furnishings are worn but exude history and character. A lite but adequate breakfast is included. Our room had a grand terrace overlooking the beautiful courtyard. Everything was clean. Staff spoke little English but managed well.... More

After reading some of the reviews here on Trip Advisor, it was with some trepidation that I made a reservation for a week's stay here. But we got a great deal online and decided to roll the dice. I don't know about the rooms upstairs-- we stayed in #8, and then when there was a problem with the water, #6.... More

I thought my two decades of staying at the Posada Toledo came to an end last October but I returned in February to an improved environment. New air conditioners and a more thoughtful cleansing of the bathrooms. However the room floors remain somewhat ignored in their need for a good cleaning. My advise is to wear something on your feet.... More

I loved this charming hotel in the centre of Merida, near all the attractions and main square...it was truly hard to criticise its location. Great value for money but the rooms, while bursting with original colonial features and antiques, will not be to everyone's taste. Bathrooms are very basic, old fashioned and could be cleaner - the shower curtain in... More

This hotel is just one block from Calle 60, and close to most of the museums and good restaurants. All the furniture in my roo was old hand carved hard wood. There was a lot of great furniture in th plaza of the hotel. Breakfast was included and the wifi was strong in all areas. price was very good.
