Lovely boutique hotel situated a short 10-15 minute walk from the historic heart of Merida with it's attractions and restaurants. On a quiet street with a peaceful location. Once through the door you're in a shady open courtyard with fountains - a really pleasant place for breakfast or a drink from the bar. Service was generally excellent and breakfasts were...

This restored house is aboslutely beautiful. I must say, that we had the 2 nicest and biggest rooms in the Hotel, which only has 7. There is a tiny courtyard with a dip pool where you can relax from the heat. The Walking distance to the old town is about 15 minutes, which can last in the heat of the...

Thank you very much for your comments Ms. Meyer. We are glad to know you enjoyed our Garden Suites. Casa Lecanda has 7 rooms because it is a traditional yucatecan house which was completely restored. It was found in ruins and brought back to life completely rescuing from tile floors to the ceiba tree and the avocado tree that are...

Walking to the gate does not give you much hope because it does not look like much, but once that gate opens it's a little nirvana. It's quiet, well maintained with spacious rooms (we stayed in the back/patio room). Yes, the shower does not give you maximum privacy but it is not a complete lack of privacy. The room is...

This place is truly one of a kind. I would highly recommend this to anyone who's interested in visiting the city of Merida and at the same time experience time-travel. This boutique hotel was originally the home of a local baron, the renovation work they did is nothing short of incredible and the place is just magical. You will enjoy...

Casa Lecanda is a beautiful boutique hotel. There are 7 rooms around a beautiful courtyard where there is a pool and tables for breakfast. The decor is traditional being the bathrooms very good. The staff is friendly and accommodating and I left a big amount of money on the bed and was surprised to be advised that it was found...

Located in a nice & quiet Calle 47 of Merida City, Casa Lecanda is an exclusive boutique hotel converted from a colonial mansion with only 7 rooms. We had a spacious garden suite with a private patio. Breakfast at pool side , friendly staff at your service makes you feel at your own Casa. They even prepare breakfast at 5...

Set in the heart of old Merida this is an oasis of calm. The house from outside is neat ,understated and could be walked passed without comment. Once inside you enter a lovely garden area rather like a Moroccan riad in style . A small pool surrounded by chairs, lounges and hammocks . The attention to detail is remarkable, from...

It's like walking into paradise. The cool courtyard is charming and beautifully furnished, the pool is big enough to cool you down and amazingly pretty, the hammocks are the perfect place to chill while working out where to go next. And the staff are brilliant - friendly and full of local know-how. Our room (Lucia) - up a flight of...

We had a wonderful four day stay here. Everything was outstanding: the location, the ambience, the decor, the breakfast, and especially the staff. The courtyard was breathtaking. The pool was small, but because it was relatively deep at one end we were able to get a nice, refreshing swim. True luxury. We can't wait to come back.

To my taste the best hotel in Mérida. The Italian villa ambient makes it unique. Great service, my only complaint is that they don't have food service. But they have a great restaurant across the street (Oliva).
