Amazing Hacienda made museum and conserved with all the furniture from the past. The building has great colors, recommended for a sunny day to appreciate the gardens and views from inside the house. Very friendly service.

We spend out last night here and it was such a wonderful experience. Not only spent the afternoon walking the property but at 6pm the hacienda closes and it was just us & 22,000 acres + Mario. His wife Aurora made the best dinner...we still talk about it. They were charming! It was an experience one should have in their...

Stayed 2 nights here. The grounds are full of lush green vegetation, and so the trees are packed with birds, all singing away to their hearts content. It is so peaceful and calming here, a lovely break from the cities and towns of Yucatan. We had great home cooked Mexican food prepared every day by a local lady, who told...

If you are looking for a real hacienda experience, this is it! The place is a bit hard to find and sort of spooky looking from the front, but once you get past the deteriorated facade, it is gorgeous. There is only one guest room, so you have the entire hacienda to yourself at the end of the day and...

My wife and I spent 8 wonderful nights in the Casa at Hacienda Yaxcopoil. The room was absolutely beautiful and the entire experience can only be described as perfectly romantic. Reading the reviews and looking at the pictures on the Hacienda's website will show that this is not an old hacienda converted to a luxury hotel. Hacienda Yaxcopoil is more...

We stayed for 2 nights in the family room, and it was a magical, fascinating experience. To have a place like Yaxcopoil to ourselves was amazing, you feel like the owners of this incredible hacienda. We loved the room, with the beautiful old tiled floor, lovely old furniture and excellent bathroom, and the sitting area at the front was great...

Step back in time and experience the life of a great hacienda in the time of sisal production. The accommodations are gracious and lovely - no TV, no noise - the tour of grounds and buildings will mean more if you have Spanish, but see them regardless. A highlight of any trip to the Yucatan.

Not for everyone, but if you want a unique experience whilst in the Yucatan this is the place for you! Once the hacienda closes at 6pm you are home alone, therefore if you like a busy crazy evening this is not the place for you. The room was traditionally furnished with genuine antique furniture, the bathroom was clean and practical....

I caught a bus from the 2nd class station next to the ADO, it cost only 14 pesos and took around 50 mins. I seemed to be the only guest, and so I was invited to make myself at home, I could wander to my heart's content. The Hacienda has not been renovated but is maintained very well. Interesting period...

We recommend everyone to visit this unrestored hacienda - its absolutly beautiful. We also decided to stay the night in one of the two guestrooms. The rooms werde nicely furnished (and renovated) the only problem is, that there was noone exept for us during night. Dinner was brought to us by a local lady (very good local food) but then...

“There is little difference between the Casa and the Room. The original tile in the Casa is magnificent but the Room is in perhaps the most photogenic simple building I have ever seen. Gardens and birds abound. Hot water is more precious but that din't bother us.”
