Just left this Boutique hotel in Centro Merida , the location was perfect close to everything , right on the main Calle that closed down for walking and restaurants to use the streets ( very enjoyable) a few times per week , we could see the spires of the cathedral from the quaint courtyard with a small pool, bar and...

A gorgeous building, centrally located, and with a fabulous outdoor courtyard bar. Rooms are all located around a central atrium overlooking a common interior courtyard. Rooms are beautiful but small, fourteen-foot ceilings, with fantastic hundred-year-old charm. Unfortunately, the charm can't make up for what's missing: no closet or storage area for clothes, miniscule bathrooms with absolutely no storage/shelf area for...

1 The service is impeccable 2 The hotel is beautiful 3 It is very clean 4 lemon daiquiri and wood fire oven pizza 👍🏻🍋🍹🍕❤️ I loved the architecture and the authentic feel of this property. It is not The Marriott for which I am thankful for. You cannot compare this to a modern property, even though the amenities are equivalent...

The staff was cordial and we were not charged for leaving early. We had booked 3 nights but only stayed one. The entire hotel and our room were shabby and unclean. the ceiling fan did not work. Electrical chords were clearly visible. Our bathroom had been recently renovated but the construction dust was not cleaned up. However, it is a...

Would not recommend this hotel because it needs a major renovation including the plumbing. The location is good and the staff very nice but does not make up for the overall feeling of yuck! The bathroom was very small and the shower directed water into the tiny room rather than the shower stall. Hot water was spotty and the room...

The building is a lovely old building but not well maintained. It definitely needs some repair work. The smell from the toilets was pretty bad. There were also some problems with bugs but this was addressed very quickly. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our many questions. It was an excellent location, easy to walk to the cathedrals,...

Structure of the building is nice, but it needs a major renovation. You can't a hot shower it runs hot then cold. The pool area and outside bar are cute. The staff is friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is limited.

Beautiful building in a great location. Great pool and outdoor restaurant. All of the staff were great. Our experience was made really fantastic by the female front desk concierge who went above and beyond to help us from the moment we arrived. She was absolutely fantastic and so accommodating. Thank you

After a four hour bus ride from Cancún, my wife and I wandered around town and found Piedra de Agua Hotel. The receptionist (Eva) was very polite and well informed about the area. After checking in, she gave us a tour of the grounds and escorted us to our room. We rented a single bed room , the bed could...
