We spent 3 days in Hotel Hacienda Merida in June 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. On arrival, there’s little to suggest from the façade what lies within, but the 8-room hacienda is a little island of calm located just a few blocks north of Merida’s central square. The rooms, located towards the back of the property, were all beautifully...

My husband and son and I spent two nights in the Hacienda Merida. It is not a hacienda, so the name is a little misleading, but it is truly beautiful. It is a bit of a shock to drive up to a doorway with narrow sidewalks on a busy street when you're thinking "hacienda". Our room had a balcony out...

The location is great. Walking distance from restaurants, bars and The Zocalo This is a boutique hotel with an outstanding service. If not a luxury hotel, Definitely a great place to relax. What makes this place so special is the personalized service. I especially want to thank Federico for his great service.

Small but very welcoming – the staff here were all really nice. Beautiful courtyard with pool and a few loungers, atmospherically lit in the evening and a lovely spot to enjoy a pre- or post-prandial drink – the barman makes superb cocktails. We were upgraded to an executive room with A/C. The room also had a safe and an iPhone...

Beautifull small hotel close to the historic center. Do not expect nothing extraordinaire from the staff or the breakfast (only meal served in the hotel), which are not bad. But do enjoy the rooms, the pool and the vibe. If you want a real Mexican experience, as I did, skip the breakfast in the hotel and head to the Café...

This is a lovely small hotel. You get excellent service from the staff. It is just a few blocks from the main city square of Merida but within the hotel property it is very quiet. Excellent breakfasts. The wireless is a little slow, but it wasn't a problem. Our room was on the ground floor with the double doors opening...

The hotel has a good location (walking distance to downtown and Paseo Montejo), nice environment and quite good service. The only problem is room size: with a room of 4m x 3.5m plus bathroom (only 1m - 1.5m from bed to wall) this one is probably the smallest room I've ever had in Mexico. I think you can get a...

Upon arrival, we went from the busy streets of Merida into an atmosphere of absolute tranquility--all within five steps. For no particular reason explained to us, we were "upgraded" to a VIP room which was on the second floor and overlooked the pool and courtyard. Our room was absolute heaven with a large king-size comfortable bed, lovely terrace for sitting...

We've stayed here end of April. Instead of staying in one of the big Hotels our decision was to try a Hacienda. This Hacienda is in the middle of the city 1.5km walk away from the main plaza. Clean, quite and unique. Service was excellent. Rooms are big enough, colonial style of decoration. All what you can expect from a...

We stayed at Hacienda VIP. This place cannot be faulted. The staff super friendly, the room beautiful and a lovely swimming pool. We enjoyed the bar next door and met more friendly staff and guests. There was a free car park down the road as well and many good restaurants.
