My husband and I stayed at the Julamis two weeks ago. We have been checking out Merida hotels, because when we fly into Merida, the flight gets in quite late - too late, in our opinion, to drive to the beach where we stay (although a lot of people do it). Last year, we stayed at the Luz before we...

Stayed four days and was very impressed with the charm of this hotel. The lobby and and rooms were simple, clean and in accordance to the colonial style in the area. I chose the hotel because of its size (small), location (near the main plaza) and its level of customer service (Mel answered many questions via e-mail before I booked...

This is a WONDERFUL place. The staff was great. Mel & Erid are total sweethearts! I was there for a little over two weeks before we relocated to another spot. Breakfast was great. Rooms were clean. We felt safe at all times. Very close to nice restaurants and town square!!

BF and I spent first week of July at this lovely place and can't say enough good things. The hotel is small and quaint, our room was huge and spotless. Hotel rate included a fresh delicious breakfast which would normally be an extra at other hotels. Mel and Lidia were helpful beyond expectations. Location was also great, at 10-15 minutes...

I stayed in the hotel a week in February of 2011 and was very pleased with my choice. The location is convenient, close to all the sites and yet quiet. I lived in the suite El Ramon, which has a direct access to the roof terrace. Although the hotel is non-smoking, there is a smoking area on the roof. So,...

Julamis was always our first pick when choosing a hotel to stay in Merida. Unfortunately, they only had 2 nights available when we wanted to stay. They did their best to find us accomodations elsewhere (taxi included) for the rest of our stay. I would recommend Julemis to anyone looking for a clean, warm, beautifuly decorated small hotel in Merida....

Erid and Mel really go out of their way to ensure all your needs are looked after and offer valuable tips for making the most of your time in Merida. All our needs were accomodated in a way that we have not...

The hotel and the rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable. Service is great. the owners Mel and Erid allways serve with helpful advices. To relax there's a lovely terrace and also a little pool to cool down. The included breakfast is great (we loved to get dark bread here!). We wish we could have stayed longer, will come back next time...

Dido on what they say. We had an incredible time here. We stayed for a week and when it came time to leave we were pretty sad. We could have stayed for a month. My boyfriend got sick and Erid and Mel were unbelievably sweet. They checked in to see how he was doing, recommended a doctor and made us...

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and we liked it very much. It was a very good value for the money. The service we got from the hosts was wonderful! They helped us with everything, gave us recommendations for restaurants, celebrations in the city and booked for us tours to Uxmal and Chichen itza. The location of the...
