Best customer Service ever,If you want the experience of more like home and family oriented then this is the place to go. I went on my anniversary and the person who cleaned my room asked me if i was there for special occasion and I said my anniversary and boy was I surprised. he set up our room so romantic. Ricardo nickname Ritchi is the best housekeeper and everyone else there. the service, the food, the beach . the only thing i did not like was the a/c they are not mini splits the temperature does not go higher than 78 no matter what you set it at. if you like a cold room you will not get it to a cold temperature. if you like a stiff bed its ok for a couple of days but not for more than a week.

Great Hotel, staff very friendly, service excellent. I would return again. Only complaint which has nothing to do with the hotel is the Cancun Airport wait time for luggage. 2 hours is a little much and should be reviewed and dealt with by there Admin. Cancun generates enough money for this airport to at least pay the proper wages to these hard working people that never get recognized and should.

Muy mal experiencia desde el check in. But I do hope that in the next few days, the people from entertainment give me a good experience. I have a group of 20 people right now that we are enjoying the pool and beach. Unfortunately, the check-in process was extremely too long and the members at first club weren’t able to accommodate my special dinner request for an anniversary.

Excellent location in a safe, gated area. Overall, the hotel was ideal for all ages. Good choice of food and attentive staff in all areas. Our room was clean and tidy but could do with a spruce up - looked a little tired.

great weather made for a good time but there were some issues. Our room did not have a working air conditioner for our 2 week stay. A persistent problem without a solution... the ceiling fan helped somewhat but the damp musty smell was unpleasant. The toilet tanks do not fill completely making for a frustrating experience to say the least! Another issue was the temperature of the food at the dinner buffet; never hot enough. Aside from these inconveniences our stay wasn't all bad. The beach is beautiful and there are always plenty of loungers. The staff are friendly and helpful and the entertainment staff are amazing.

CURRENTLY at this resort and would strongly advise other travellers to NOT STAY HERE and TO READ THiS REVIEW. This is my third time to Mexico and decided to try the allegro because it was a last minute vacation decision and found a good deal, and we are regretting this decision. I will start with the negatives and what we have experienced then the positive stuff. NEGATIVE: made sure to email and call the resort days before arriving to get a ground floor room and upon arrival this was not the case, rooms are run down, need upgrading and were given an upper floor room. Due to this decided to pay extra to upgrade to an ocean view room which was better for the view alone. Sadly that same night at the new room an overnight leak starts from the ceiling pot light which is an electrical hazard and leaks overnight causing a puddle on the floor which my 4 year old slips on in the morning as we were not aware it was leaking during the night. I requested a full refund of the money for the upgrade due to this major issue and did not get the refund. Instead management was highly unprofessional, rude and lacking any sort of customer service. Particularly the front desk manager Lou, the general manager who did not even bother to discuss this with us and refused a refund or no other gestures. MANAGEMENT: highly unprofessional, unavailable to discuss a major issue as a flooding in a room overnight. FOOD: we are shocked as to the quality and food given we are in Mexico. The food here sadly is really really BAD. I understand this is a budget hotel but we are not happy with the food. STAFF: The interactions we had with the front desk staff was not good and they made some unprofessional comments. My husband mentioned that we had no hot water and the guest series manager asks him are you sure which was a bit strange to doubt a customer. The front desk manager Lou was extremely rude and the interaction with the staff at the front desk alone is enough of a reason to avoid this hotel. The only positive thing is the hardworking maids , waiters and ground keepers and bar tenders ag the pools and beach. They always have a smile and doing the best they can.
