We arrived April 6 and left April 12. First of all the service is out of this world. Check in was a breeze. The room was spacious and spotless upon arrival. The food was very good, something for everyone who is a picky eater. You do have to make reservations for the La Carte Speciality restaurants each morning at 8:00...

Just got back from a ten day stay here and what can I say apart from WOW. The hotel staff could not bend over backwards more to make your stay a good one. You are really waited on hand and feet - and never have to wait for anything. They staff are out every morning making sure the beach is...

Me and my husband spent our honeymoon at the Riu Palace Mexico the first two weeks in February 2012. We could not have asked for more for a honeymoon. The hotel is gorgeous and the staff bend over backwards to help you relax. We soon settled into the relaxing and lazing around- you barely lift a finger and don't have...

Stayed from Thursday, 3/29 -Tuesday 4/3. The weather was absolutely perfect, sunny days in the mid 80's and nights around 68.Got there late Thursday afternoon, check in was a breeze, stayed in a junior suite, room 122 far from the lobby but close to the beach. First impression of the property was....wow....beautiful. Many have mentioned the musty smell/odor in the...

The staff was great and the food is some of the best I've had at an all inclusive. Had fun in the lounge. Rooms were ok they also have bidets and the tubs...

My wife and I stayed at the Palace from 3-22 to 3-29. WOW!!! We have been to numerous other resorts in Cancun and the Rivera Maya and this place is nothing short of supurb. Yes the Lobby as elegant as it is, is a bit musty smelling. And my wife didnt like the incense smell of the lobby bar. But...

We just returned from our second stay at this resort. Again, the food and service were great! This time, men were required to wear long pants at dinner in all areas, something we were not prepared for! Our room was fine. The shower is dark, but it is kept very clean. The resort will close in August and the rooms...

Visited 3rd week of March 2012. This was during spring break (USA) but the resort maintained a peaceful atmoshpere. We took greater advantage of the specialty resturaunts and were vary satisfied. Food was great. Drinks are weak but bartenders are more than happy to pour a double or triple upon request. Service was great. Our room was cleaner and in...

We holidayed here from Monday 27th February for 14 nights through Thomson. Cancun is a large, efficient airport with fast moving queues. There were a couple of forms to complete on the flight for customs. The journey by bus took 45 minutes to Playacar. First impressions of the hotel were good; the foyer is very grand and palatial with amazing...
