Luna Blue was a perfect place to stay. The grounds are really beautiful and peaceful. The hotel is mere steps from a lot of shopping, restaraunts, and clubs but feels like it is a world away. Our room was so wonderful. We stayed in a kitchen suite. It had a double bed, a single bed, and a trundle. It worked...

What a perfect vacation!! It was our anniversary and our first trip away from our 3 yr old triplets so we were looking for a nice retreat. We had heard about Luna Blue through TripAdvisor and were looking for a hotel that was not only afforadable but also clean, near the action, and comfortable. Luna Blue and Tony & Cheri...

We had a great week at the Luna Blue Hotel in mid-March, just before Spring Break (a great time to go if you want to avoid some of the drunk college kids). We had a Superior room for four nights and a Deluxe Kitchen Studio for three nights. We absolutely loved the hotel! The rooms are lovely, and the balcony...

I've travelled to Playa several times, but the last time I went was in 2001. The town has changed quite a bit -- some good, some not so good. One of the best changes is the transformation of the old Zanzibar Hotel into the Luna Blue. Tony and Cheri (the owners) have done an amazing job of creating what must...

Loved the bar. The hotel is north enough and off of 5th enough to be absolutly quiet at night. Room viente y dos: The room...

My husband and I stayed in the Treetop Terrace of Luna Blue. It was a beautiful room, complete with a private patio with a hammock. We were greeted upon arrival by the owners of the hotel, Toni and Cheri. That friendliness extended throughout our vacation as staff at Luna Blue were always available to help us plan a trip, get...

We stayed for the second time at the Luna Blue. Tony & Cheri Head are the most wonderful hosts. Every year it's amazing what changes they do for the rooms, the garden, and the little touches for the guests. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We loved sitting out on our deck with the hammock and all the birds...

We stayed at the Luna Blue in mid-March for one week. We booked a superior room. We were enchanted by the atmosphere, the cenote and the blissful quiet. The location, just off the Quinta could not have been better. Everything is so close by! Mamita's Beach Club is just a five minute walk away and the daily passes were easy...

This has to be the best small hotel in Playa. We booked Luna Blue for 5 nights based on tripadvisor reviews - and we were not disappointed. We were on our honeymoon and wanted a smaller boutique type hotel. We had a superior room which featured fantastic private balcony, fridge, unlimited purified drinking water, and a large bed. The staff...
