This was our first time at Petit Lafitte. A clean, comfortable and friendly resort on a white sand beach near Puerto Morelos. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food, especially the Mexican dinners. The chili relleno was the best we've ever had. If anything the non-Mexican dinners could be improved to make it a 5 star.

We had a excellent 5 day stay for our family of 5. Very family friendly and David the concierge was awesome. We also loved the monkeys, birds and all the other creatures in the nature area. The only thing i would change is to expand the happy hour to 2 hours before dinner.

We needed a place to stay in Playa until we moved to Puerto Aventuras so decided to try this hotel. I have to say we didn't check the information adequately because we thought we would be in Playa but this hotel definitely isn't in PDC. Very quaint little place with what appears to be a lot of charm and loyal...

My wife and I stayed at Petit Lafitte based on the advice from friends. We've never been to Mexico so were a little more cautious at first. After an easy Super Shuttle ride from Cancun to Petit Lafitte we arrived to a smiling David who immediately knew our names ( our friends told him we were coming) David welcomed us,...

Our Family felt like we had stepped into our own "Little Paradise" at Petit Lafitte. The staff assisted with everything we requested and went above and beyond to make this a relaxing and fun vacation. The evening dinners were excellent with a different selection each night and then it was off to the bar for a cocktail by the ocean...

This was a return visit for us and we were greeted as family. The bungalows are well-kept and provide a special way to spend time when you are not on the beach. The food is excellent and copious. The service staff is terrific, from the restaurant staff to the housekeeping staff. The beach is beautifully kept and the size of...

My wife and I just returned from a week stay. It was our first time and we absolutely loved the experience. The resort is very small and we stayed in one of the regular rooms that was clean and very nice. landscaping is beautiful and impeccably maintained. The staff are warm and welcoming and can't do enough to make you...

BF was delayed getting into Cancun, so rather than drive in the dark to Tulum, we got to Petit Lafitte by sunset and stayed overnight. Took a bungalow, with dinner and breakfast included, and had a great time. Room was roomy, bed comfy, AC chilly and shower hot and powerful. Highly recommend the PL. And the bar at the Viceroy...

Just returned from 12 nights in the oceanfront bungalow and can't wait to return. Great food, happy entertainment almost every night, and plenty of families cycling through so there was always a friend to make. Between the hammocks in the shade or partial sun, the uncrowded beach and pool, the game room, and the beachfront bar there is always a...

My wife and I recently returned from another week at Petit. This was our 5th trip there in the last 6 years. The food is worth noting as it has gotten even better since the last time we were there in 2/15. The staff really makes this place the gem that it is, from management to the housekeepers. Everyone is...

“Stay in the main building for tv and/or to save money. Garden bungalows for quiet. Beach bungalows if the view is super important to you.”

“My husband and I rented a private bungalow! #7 Our bungalow was always cleaned by noon to include fresh linens, towels, water, restocked fridge and most importantly, clean foot dipping water to keep the sand out and not in! Every one seems to tip their cleaning staff at the end of their stay as you always have the same housekeeper. The office will give you special envelopes for this gratuity.”
